Angel Beats, and its not even really close. Clannad was good the thing that got me was the ending of After Story. I was not a fan at all. Actually Little Busters is good so far as well but I can't really rate a series that hasn't finished.

Let's see.

Air was decent.
Kanon (Original) was shit.
Kanon (2006) was slightly better than original.
Clannad was a cute harem anime.
Clannad ~After Story~ was the best thing that has ever happened to slice of life / drama / romance anime.
Angel Beats! was good, but it lacked something which After Story had, a good storyline.
Little Busters! is garbage and JC staff should just go bankrupt.

Air left me dead inside for like 2 weeks after I watched it. I went so far as to manically search the internet to compare my impressions of the ending with other people. It was pretty good though the ending is pretty harsh emotionally

Kanon 2006 is an ok harem anime though nothing special. The ending was my favorite part of the show by far. Had an issue with some of the story arcs

Clannad is a pretty solid harem anime. I would definitely rate it higher than Kanon 2006. I really like some of the characters in the series like Tomoya, Nagisa, and Kyou (my favorite). The story has more emotional impact than Kanon 2006. As a matter of fact, watching this series made me cry for the first time in 7 years. The Fuko story arc did me in

Clannad After Story is literally the greatest form of media I have ever witnessed in all my years. I was truly stunned at how much emotion could be wrung from animation. So much so that I literally cried for about 3 hours straight. I will say the first 2 story arcs are filler though not unwelcome. At least for me. I really do enjoy the series that much

Angel Beats is a series that I do enjoy. It's possible the music in this series is the best of all the Key series. Unfortunately, I can't stand the first 2 episodes of the series. I literally stopped watching the series when I first sat down to watch because of them. Thankfully the third episode comes along and puts the series ultimately on the path to greatness. The third episode is so good in fact that it made me cry. Though I didn't cry until the last 15 seconds of the last episode I definitely liked the way it ended. Angel Beats isn't my favorite Key anime but it is very good and one of those series where I wish they would have added filler episodes just so I could have more time with the characters in the show

Pretty much agreed with what Chrome said although I might have to re-watch Kanon (2006) to recall some things. Other than that, Air, Angel, Beats, and Clannad was decent. Clannad: After Story was one of my favorite series as I did actually cry during one of the episodes a little.

LB! is shit so far imo. I would give it a 5/10 as it is although I don't rate series till after they finish airing most of the time. I hope JC Staff can turn things around soon.

I've also been reading the Rewrite manga and it could be a potential anime series in the future.

Clannad and After Story are definitely my favorite works. The others are decent as well; Air was good until the ending, I'm still not 100% sure what exactly happened, so it was hard to react.

Best? Can't say. I love Air, Kanon 2006 (more than the 2002 version though I liked it), Clannad/After Story, and now Angel Beats. But my personal favorite would have to be Kanon '06. I love Nagisa, but I LOVE Ayu so much more! Uguu.

I'm glad that I've watched all the series by the order of year releases, 'cause it's pretty obvious where Clannad borrows some ideas from. Minor spoiler: Heck, what happened to Ushio recalls Mizusu's scene on the last episode of Air. And Clannad season 1's first 2 arcs (though enjoyable) almost made me feel like I was watching a continuation of Kanon '06 (Tomoya even felt like somewhat of a Yuuichi clone) which made me question the fan hype. Thankfully, it acts like its own show after the Kotomi (she's cute!!) arc thus dropping my doubt like Earth's gravity.

I hope I'm mistaken but I find Air to be the most underrated of the Key series.

So, what other Key games are left to be adapted?

Angel Beats is a Key game. Unless you mean to say it's not adapted by KyoAni. I love your Kyon pic, btw.

Angel Beats was never a game. it was an anime made when KyoAni went to Jun Maeda who writes the stories for Key's visual novels, and asked him to make a very Key-like anime.

*googles for verification* Thanks for clearing that up. But if KyoAni asked him, how did it end up in P.A. Works? Not that it bothered me 'cause I loved its eyegasmic art. *drools wildly*
