who else has two phones

I had three at one point now I have two. One was assigned to me the other is mine. Check out T-Mobile's unlimited data plan. It's expensive - $90 a month but if you are texting, talking, and looking at a lot of anime - this might be the plan.

Samsung Siii is what I would recommend you getting if you are going to get a new plan with phone.

(Ex. Only for work or only for personal contacts and so on)

I don't think having two phone subscriptions is really necessary unless one is for business or a boyfriend/girlfriend on the side.
