Whats up all,
keikawa, here. (thanks for kicking things off here michana)! I'm hijacking your thread to announce the third new title coming to Crunchyroll: Ai-Mai-Mi! This brand new series will start on Thursday January 3, at 7:30 am Pacific Time, and will be available to worldwide audiences except for Japan. This new series – an adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Choboraunyopomi – comes from Seven, the same production studios that delivered MORITA-SAN WA MUKUCHI and RECORDER AND RANDSELL. For those unfamiliar, here's a little breakdown of what it's all about: “Three girls in the manga club, Ai, Mai, and Mii, battle with evil Earth invaders, face off against rivals in tournaments, and might not actually draw any manga.” So lets continue on with our winter announcements with the addition of Encouragement of Climb and Mangirl Encouragement of Climb will launch on Wednesday, January 2nd at 10am PST. Aoi prefers indoor hobbies and is afraid of heights, but her childhood friend Hinata loves to show off her passion for mountain climbing. As young children they once watched the sunrise from the top of a mountain, and now they've decided to take up mountain climbing in hopes of seeing that sunrise again. They have cooking battles with mountaineering gear, climb small hills in their neighborhood, and meet new mountaineering friends as they learn the ropes of the hobby. When will they finally see that sunrise again? Check out the preview: You either have Javascript turned off or an old version of Flash Player. Get the latest Flash Player Encouragement of Climb will be available in the following areas: North America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Mangirl will also launch on Wednesday, January 2nd at 10am PST. We're going to launch a manga magazine! A team of girls with zero experience in manga editing are off and running toward their dream of creating the biggest manga magazine in Japan! They seem to do nothing but run into problems and failures... But still they're working hard every day! Mangirl will be available in the following areas: North America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. believes that D-Frag and Nisekoi deserve an anime

Hasnt it only been greenlit, so that means the anime is probably not even being animated yet with even a release date?

I first thought Mangirl was about a guy who likes to dress as a girl. But it's about a group of girls drawing manga.

I really appreciate the series you offer, which are considerably more than they were in the past, but the majority of the new series are not available in my region. That makes me really sad as a fan. I know it's not easy, but i would be really greatfull if you tried to license some more series for the rest of Europe and not only for Scandinavia and the Netherlands. I hope you can.

Thanks again Crunchyroll!
Encouragement of Climb is the official English title but it sounds weird. They need to ask a native english speaker... How about simply: Climb! That's what I will call it. Mangirl is weird too... It's a man, no its a girl no its a girl making manga... But weird names or not I will give them a chance! |

I can't wait for more CR announcements since all of them 'till now have been licensed for streaming on my country, so I'm hoping that most of this season's titles might be available on my country as well.
Keep them coming and good job, everyone. I'm glad I just renewed my premium membership lol |

Encouragement of the Climb seems really interesting. I've never heard of an anime about mountain climbing.
Mangirl on the other hand can either be great or bad depending on how the creaters manage the subject matter. |

I'll give Mangirl a try. I love the animes about the manga publishing business (Bakuman, Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi). =D
