I have 0 (zero) desire to see any of the streams announced so far for the new season. Granted, only 4-ish series have been announced thus far, but still. Hopefully there will be something to pique my interest pretty soon. -_-

There aren't that many action anime premiering in Winter so Crunchyroll can only stream what is actually there. The Winter season is full of shorts and comedies so that will likely be the majority of CR's lineup. I think CR has a good shot at getting Zettai Karen Children-the Unlimited. There is a reasonably serious anime called Maoyuu Maou Yuusha this season but since it is quite similar to Spice & Wolf, Funimation might get it.
But yes, I was hoping they'd stream Encouragement of Climb so I am happy there and have added it to my queue.

The only short that I've really enjoyed is Poyopoyo. The other ones have been satisfactory to terrible, but because they are 2-4 minutes it's not a big time waster. I think they bring a lot of ad revenue from free members, and in addition the only short that is continuing on simulcast is Bottom Biting Bug and I haven't been watching that because it appeals to a children's audience.

Those are ok, I mean, I haven't even heard of 'Encouragement to Climb' at all...I'll tune in to see the first couple episodes to see if they're worth a watch. Poyopoyo is really the only short-anime I've seen yet, so I have no expectations as of now...but we need some actual shows.
I know you'll be simulcasting Chihayafuru Season 2, but I'm personally waiting for Oreshura, Sasami-san@Ganbaranai, Boku wa Tomodachi Sukinai NEXT, Tamako Market, Maoyuu Maou Yuusha, And maybe some movies or OVAs (I know, very unlikely, but a guy can hope), such as Saint Young Men and Nekomonogatari.
I know some of those shows are very unlikely, but I hope CR can get some of them.

After reading the first volume of the manga, I am rather looking forward to Encouragement of Climb. Though I am kind of sad its only five minutes long per episode. As for Mangirl and Ai-Mai-Mi I'll give them a try.
