I find rude is that
When you say your opinion, it gets shot down
and then they say theirs and they want everyone to applaud it
(basically a hypocrite)
and.....
Alright this question is hard because, I have like a million (seriously a million ), reasons of what is rude.... but you know it will be labeled as OPINION

Well I'm a waiter so i deal with this a lot.... the most irritating/rude thing to me that a customer can do...
(i walk to their table)
Me: How's everything tasting?
customer: Fine but i could use a refill
Me in my head: I'm not blind thanks though. Give me time to SAY it!

if im talking to someone via texts and they just stop without a heads up.
people who feel the need to talk on their cell phones when they're at check out.
the asshats who refuse to leave you alone when you politely ask them and then get pissed off when you get irritated.
individuals who like to give alot of criticism but can not take any.
when someone tries to talk to you while you're on the phone...then proceed to say the same shit again but louder because they think then you'll answer them.

there are plenty more examples, but those are a few that occurred within the last 6 hours and are fresh in my mind.

Just so some people are clear, though few may see this Random acts of kindness are nice and all, but i'd likely keep walking FACT: I'm just that shy ^_^

I'd hold the door for anyone also but I just ignore it usually, I kinda get and respect why someone wouldn't respond, and I know I did it for my own reasons rather than being told to, to feel nice about myself :)
But this is just my own experience, I don't really have a say as to others' ideas, but if felt like had to say it, I've always felt bad for not getting along with people )

RUDE: People interfering with my goals when they don't even know what I was trying to do, just limits me during doing so and pisses me off

And being shoved into a crowd isn't fun I agree, or being blocked in the hallway by groups, but ive never let it happened, I always find my way around or through groups, guess it's cause im used to it from school .-.

Ugh but my companions Im with, sure they try to follow my usually but they always get swept up, I've arrived at the library 20minutes before them, and we were all dropped off at the same place, sad really

EDIT: RUDE, those who don't accept that someone didn't have to do something or make something for them, and criticize it anyways

If I hold a door for someone, a "Thanks" or at least a nod would be appropriate. It takes no energy. It takes no effort. I am not askingthat people bow before me in exchange for holding a door. A nod, a single word, a single breath is all that is required. When someone passes by without even a nod, they are effectively stating "your life and your effort mean so little to me that I cannot even waste a breath or a single word on you." Honestly, I'd rather have someone punch me than ignore me if I perform a kindness for them.

On the topic of holding doors, I don't like it when people hold the door open for me. I appreciate it when my hands are full, but otherwise I find it such a strange custom to hold the door for others. I do it for others out of habit, and because others actually like it? :/

Making assumptions about others.

It's rude, and illogical. Why assume things when you don't have all the information? I'll admit I'm guilty of doing this and I'm sure almost everyone is or will be at some point as well. Don't do it if you can help it!

When someone makes fun of someone for any reason basically bullying, it's so rude I almost ended in a fist fight with someone who was making fun of someone else because of their hobby.
I have no patience for people like that.

Speaking about someone when they aren't there, annoys me because it tends to be nasty things that are mentioned when the person isn't there.
