How Do You Handle Boring Intellectuals Who Think They Are Better Than You?

I come across people like this a lot in my line of work. What I always do is force them to come to the painful realization that I am far more intelligent than they are. You can always tell when they have realized it for themselves because first there is a moment of silence where they just stand there staring in to space with a blank, dumbfounded expression on their face.

Then it turns to rage. And they abandon all attempts at making whatever point they were trying to make just start screaming insults and calling names. After they calm down, there is usually a period of sadness and shame. They look down around you and refuse to make eye contact. This period usually lasts for a while. But even after it ends, they are always humbled in my presence.

Or the easy way: ignore them and continue with the rest of your day while a douche bag is crying out for attention, acknowledgement and immediate gratification which all amounts to being asinine and total bullshit.

If they can't tell that I'm completely ignoring them then they weren't that smart to begin with then.
