Tea or Coffee

Inspiring and kinda poetic there, missy. Makes me reluctant to blaspheme and say that I prefer my morning coffee almost a whiter shade of pale and my evening coffee the same but with some Benedictine. And if it's the weekend, Benedictine in the morning too! It's like drinking flowers. When I drink black, I like little cups of espresso, although my favorite was Lebanese coffee, like Turkish with the grounds at the bottom. And in between, tea all day, every day, mostly green, black, and licorice. Unlike the coffee, I usually like my tea plain.

I thank ya kindly, lady, you're forgiven on the basis I'm a fan of the song by Procol Harum. Drinking a cup of fire-hot liquid rocket-fuel will not only wake you up, but make you stand Like a Boss while you drink it, not to be confused with Having a lil' Capt'n in you.

Now before my days of drinking it black, I used sugar and mint mocha creamer. Stomach doesn't like the creamer anymore and the thought of starting my day by downloading 3 teaspoons of sugar makes me want to cringe, but I NEED coffee for the safety of those around me, so I did the only thing I could... Man up.

Now I'm a rocket fuel-swilling ninja with the vernacular of a sailor and demeanor of a caffeine-infused tsundere.

I actually think I'm gonna take the very last step towards hardcore coffee drinker... and start grinding my own beans... My parents do and have every day my entire life. I'm so impartial to Eight O'Clock Hazelnut (ground) coffee, and the beans smell SO much better than the ground in the bag... I'm ready to sign my name in blood on the dotted line and take the risk of exploding through the fucking roof every morning when I take that first sip.

I don't really drink tea anymore, though if I have a sore throat, I will indulge in some hot water and honey, lemon optional. I like the soothing effect of honey and hot water by themselves better; I think lemon's nice if you're congested.
