What other anime titles should also be included in Crunchyroll?
|
Hello, Im new to the site. I have been using Crunchyroll since November this year after beeing hooked on the new anime Pet Girl of Sakurasou , After that I have been watching various amounts of anime. (mostly romantic ones( Im kinda a sucker for them ^^;)) but I felt like this site was missing something, some of my favorite anime titles from my childhood are not in Crunchyroll. Anyone else have this feeling and if so which animes do you think Crunchyroll should put on the site.
First of all .Hack . It was the turning point in my childhood and to this day it's been still my number one favorite anime ever. Basically it was like the first Sword Art Online. I could go on for days about >hack but im not going to. Second is Neon Genesis Evangelion After hearing the Opening song , I got hooked onto the series, to this day I still have that song stuck in my head. Third is Bobobo Bo bo Bobo . Cuz it's a funny show :P, made me laugh since Toonami was still on cartoon network. Fourth is One Piece , Since this site has Naruto, Why not One Piece ey? |

It's all about licensing. You ask why One Piece isn't streamed here. Well that's because it's being streamed on Hulu.
I'm just glad that Crunchyroll isn't in Netflix's current situation. They've lost the vast majority of their once extensive anime catalog due to Funimation deciding to stream on their own website, and they had gotten licenses to stream Funimation titles in the past pretty exclusively so their anime section is a veritable ghost town now. |

Blast reality. Burst it into shreds. Banishment...this world!

Write a nice letter to shinji for the anime you desire to be streamed here. He'll be sure to fulfill that fetish- I MEAN desire.

Funimation licensed them, however, and as with all Kadokawa titles, that meant they were pulled from CR. |

Yes, that's my real age.

Would be nice if Manga Entertainment and/or Funimation teamed up with Crunchyroll to put their series on CR, but that probably won't ever happen, which means I'm still forced to watch a whole lot of shows on their respective crumby websites. Oh well, I guess CR could use the competition. Keeps them on their toes at least.
As for what's not licensed, Little Busters! Seriously surprised no one picked that up! Really want to watch that. In my dreams, more Toei and Sunrise shows will be licensed, but I doubt that'll ever happen now. Sigh... |
