What other anime titles should also be included in Crunchyroll?

It'd be interesting to get some of the shows that are no longer licensed by an existing company, like some of geneon's old stuff and maybe some Bandai stuff once the licensing agreement runs out, getting Code Geass on here would definitely get some views.

Plus a lot of the anime you guys are asking for is available on Funimation's website and YouTube channel ... Like seriously go look at their stuff

They should put the Kara no Kyoukai movies on here so I can see what all the fuss is about. No one else has it, and it's an Aniplex series, so it doesn't seem too far out of reach. Or Daisuke could get it >_>

One Piece and Toriko. Gundam when it's licensed again and Higurashi.

So did I but that is technically illegal and could be brought down anytime.

If it's illegal they take it down. If it's not, it stays up. If the owner(s) don't care, I don't care. If they do, they can have it taken down pretty easily.

It's all about licensing. You ask why One Piece isn't streamed here. Well that's because it's being streamed on Hulu.

I'm just glad that Crunchyroll isn't in Netflix's current situation. They've lost the vast majority of their once extensive anime catalog due to Funimation deciding to stream on their own website, and they had gotten licenses to stream Funimation titles in the past pretty exclusively so their anime section is a veritable ghost town now.

Not valid anymore, since Daisuki streams it too now.
Then again, Daisuki is runned by the anime business.

Wish FUNI and Hulu could get their a** in gear with the availability of videos outside of USA and Canada. I'm starting to think that they don't care about the rest of the world, that it's just bs that they're trying to get it available in other regions.

Hulu doesn't even care about Canada.

That is what adds an extra dollop of disappointment when Viz gets a series; they have the rights to show it to Canadians, but because they only use Hulu, Canadians are shut out.

At least that problem didn't get carried over to their Neon Alley service, although that doesn't help Canadians that prefer video on demand and/or Japanese language subtitled fare.

Funimation really has no reason to care about countries outside the United States and Canada. To them, streaming is a side business. Before they launched their premium service, they really just considered it self-funding advertising for their home video sales. Even with their premium service, they still seem to have zero motivation to expand into other markets.

Tidying up and just discovered there are two of this sort of thread. Closing this in favor of the more active one. See:
