Anime You've Cried Man-tears to or Lady-tears as well! *Spoilers
|
Something is telling me this thread will be reported soon....
But before it does go down that road I will list two new shows I've recently cried to! 1.) Toradora 2.) Kimi Ni Todoke There were so many situations in both of those shows that I could connect with on a personal level... I've so been in most of those situations. As for the arguments above. They are invalid mostly because you're all having trouble spelling and what people cry to/enjoy depends on said person. I hated School Days, and sometimes wish it could be burned out of history's timeline... but I'm not ragging on anyone who enjoyed it. More power to ya homie. [All typo's and slang were planted purposely, kthnx.] |

What makes me cry big ol' man tears is the fact that some people become so hostile and violent over simple disagreements.
Some people can debate and voice opinions in a civil and smart way, where others just insult and find other ways to put the other person down, straying farther and farther from the original point. I guess they just enjoy trying to make people get angry or feel stupid, even if by doing so they just look like a complete douche. I don't know about other people, but I've never enjoyed looking like a douche. haha. If you disagree with someone don't jump down their throat right away. Instead, try to be empathetic. Maybe you didn't think it was sad when "whats-her-faces" cat was killed by a train. But, somebody else may have just had the same thing happen to them recently and can relate to it, therefore finding it sad. People's personalities, in my opinion are directly related to their experiences. That being said, I never finished watching school days. I found it too painful to watch. I just didn't WANT to see how it turned out hahaha. I did finish watching Kimi ga Nozomu Eien though. I guess that's relatively the same as school days, and I found that pretty sad. I can't remember if it was "tear" worthy though. |

I chose a really bad time in my life to watch it and had no idea what I was in for. :( I did the exact same thing! I lost my job right when everything in my life was sucking and, since all of a sudden I had plenty of free time, what do I do? I sit in my basement for 3 straight days, no lights, no people, and just marathon the shit out of Clannad. I think I laid in bed for a week and a half after that, just contemplating what I was doing with my life haha. But yeah, I had NO idea what I was getting into. That show injected me with more depression then any normal human could withstand.. ... luckily, I'm no normal human, Haha. |

It had been a couple months but was still nowhere near long enough to make it bearable. I did the same thing as you. I was watching all of it very quick and then just broke down. It was devastating and as much as I loved it I just don't think I will ever be able to handle watching it again. I am really good at keeping my emotions in check too but there is nothing that works for me against that show. >_< |

![]() While One Piece is widely known for its oddly characters, super powers and unending knacks and humor, it also comes surprisingly with a heart. I cried when robin's past was showed. i cant write it in words how heartbreaking it is to see a child run off desperately for its mother. second was when Merry was given a viking funeral. Luffy's tears and outburst were contagious. Third, and the most touching for me was when Ace was on the verge of death, with tears falling like twin rivers, he uttered the words like 'thank you for loving someone like me who is good for nothing!' before he fell down on the rubles lifeless but with a remarkable smile. really, Oda is such a genius |

Toradora, I loved that show, and so far it's still at the top of my list for favorite shows.
Saikano made me cry for so many screwed up reasons. That show didn't tug at your heart strings, it grabbed them all and yanked them, while kicking you saying "How's that?!" |
