Its usually a decent deal for the UK, over here we pay in pounds what you do in dollars typically. So Eden of the east set is 24 pounds, yet the deals are usually actually price translations. 15 pounds for this one.
In general though I'm put off CR because of a months shipping that is also expensive? Alot of the time the cost is around 1/4 of the actual item again in shipping. 5 pounds or more.

I ordered Eden of the East. I watched the series on Netflix so I don't care about rewatching it anytime soon, but I've been thinking about getting the Blu-Ray for awhile. My husband and I both really enjoyed the series.

The Eden of the East Blu-ray in the UK is going for like £12 on amazon which isn't bad at all. This does work out a bit more expensive so not the best deal for the UK. That said, I've picked up a few of the daily deals here (most recent being Ah My Goddess Season 2) which have infact been a saving compared to what we're charged here. It's just a case of shopping around at the time to see how prices compare before jumping headlong into the deals.
I think my favourite deal here was the Gunbuster 1 and 2 Blu-ray set. Loved it so much

Today's Strike Witches deal is showing as £41 + £11 for shipping... that is a complete rip off this time round to be fair considering I bought season 1 in a store here before christmas for only £12 and Amazon is selling it for £12 too with free shipping. Crunchyroll I am disappointed.

Actually, when they say the disks are Hybrid it means they have both Japanese and English Audio tracks. It has nothing to do with what type of discs are included. Hence the CR version for sale is a Hybrid DVD, however there is no BD included.

The store prices break the trust of the sites users. They sell items with over inflated prices trying to make a buck. Have you seen the prices on those tiny pokemon figures? The dvd prices are laughable as well. No one in their right mind pays THAT much. Its not about being an anime fan, its about being a smart consumer.
Also they need to remove items that are not in stock or at least add a feature to only show in stock items.
also keep in mind that the lower prices are for members so you have to factor that into the cost.
