Living in Australia, the British have had a major impact on our culture, some good, some bad

I guess we tend to view the British as snobbish with their British accent, unlike our corrupted version Hmmm, I guess when I think of 'UK' I think tea drinkers, the Queen and royalty, red telephone booths, the union jack... that's a fairly superficial list of mine.

I've been to London once, but only for a weekend. That's not near enough time to see much or get the feel of such a big city!

The EU is a mess. I honestly think it's going to collapse very very soon.

I tell you how what I think most people view the UK!
First to U.S.A...Listen closely. SOME! Not EVERYONE...SOME, and that's a big chuck of SOME might I add, believe UK = England.
Which I hate and I know it's not only in the U.S.A, other countries do it as well. Especially England. England thinks UK = England.
It's so annoying to hear that in a sentence. "This anime dvd came out today in England"
WRONG! It should be "This anime dvd came out today in the UK" because I believe I bought it as well, and i'm from the UK but not England!
People forget that Wales, Scotland and N Ireland are apart of the UK. And it SUCKS to think a LOT of people think UK is only one country.
It's like if I were to mistake someone to be an American when they are actually Canadian or when I say something "That game is only out in America/USA" Then someone from Canada will say, excuse me but I have it as well! So you should have said "That game is only out in NA"
And I completely understand them.
