I want to visit england but as a american I wonder if its a good idea since I learned the british hate us, what would be better for an american to be around normal british or chavs since there dumb Um... Brits don't hate Americans? That's a stereotype about chavs that isn't entirely true. I guess am foolish to go by most british opinion I herd on this sight, about america or chavs. Ionly learned what chaves were a few days ago, and looked it up after a british girl told me what a chav was . It could be like saying all gangsters in america are dumb and not to be trusted. to me when I saw what people call chavs on british TV I thought they seamed cool. then hereing from british people here saying there dumb who violence. also I thoght british liked americans but on this sight i have yet to see one who dos. I even been told not to come to britain as an american so yes i did assume I would end up in a ally some were. would I be scene less in britain that I could get along with what brits call chavs. why chavs is there a more polite way of refereeing to the type of life style thy live? I don't think most Brits dislike Americans infact I would say quite a lot of Brits idolise American celebrities as we have a lot of American tv shows, music and movies here, and there is a big difference between disliking America and disliking Americans. I judge everyone on an individual basis and would never dislike someone for where they were from, so even if I dislike your government's policies or actions it wouldn't make me judge you. If you came to Britain the chances of you being treated badly are low unless you went to a real yob area (football hooligan type people). nicely put, am the type who is shy but talkitive not a loud rude american like i seen in the past, must be mindful and respect the country your in. I like making friends so I hope I will make a few when I visit. over here we idolise british rock stars and actors
