It really is a shame that such nicely animated, well written well voice acted anime can struggle to sell at all but shovel shovelware sells thousands upon thousands of copies. The manga sells very well, nearly 400000 copies per volume but the anime has sold so poorly that we don't know how poorly, its sales have been so low that it has not made the bottom of the top 100 list for any volume so far. I have bought all the manga and all the discs, Blu Rays and CDs. I would love for the rest to be animated but if they do, it will be purely as an ad for the manga which does happen, mind you. So you never know.

And it is one of the few pure romance anime around these days. There is some humor too but it is just slice of life romance humor, not the slapstick humor you get in rom-com anime like Tonari no Kaibutsu Kun / My Little Monster and Sakurasou. Just read manga chapter 43! It continues but takes next month off, back in June (August issue of Dessert). Since I read Tonari no Kaibutsu kun and I'm starting some of the other shoujo stories I will need to buy next month's as well. Tonari is almost done so I am starting some new ones. The new titles are a bit silly but will see how "Beauty Bunny", "Hiren Trip", and "Tsubame, the sea and dolce" are any good as they just started a few issues ago when I got tired of waiting for the Sukitte and Tonari tankobons and started reading Dessert monthly...
