What is your personality type?
|
Your personality type: ISFJ.
Strength of individual traits: I - 46%, S - 6%, F - 10%, J - 1%. SFJs are very committed to keeping their long-term relationships at the highest possible level and being responsible while dating. People with this personality type usually have very strong feelings, but they tend to hide them from the outside world, unless there is a very good reason to open up – this is why these feelings may not always be obvious to other people. Anyone dating an ISFJ should keep this mind – it is more than likely that their shell is hiding some very strong feelings. The intensity of these feelings means that romantic relationships are a very high priority for ISFJs, and they may sometimes even place them on the same shelf as religious feelings. Consequently, ISFJ personalities take dating very seriously as well. ISFJs seek long-term, monogamous romantic relationships and it is safe to say that they are very likely to remain faithful and loyal to their partners until the last day of their life. |

like many people here I'm an INTJ (and I am a female which makes me even rarer).
Strength of individual traits: I - 75%, N - 50%, T - 46%, J - 34%. Honestly I'm surprised I scored so low in some parts, usually when I take these tests the T & J are higher. buleleader wrote: Anyone else noticing that like 80% of the people on this forum are getting the "super-rare-only-four-percent-of-people-in-the-world-have-it" INTJ personality...? I'm not really surprised by that. I have had my suspicions for some time that most INTJ are also anime fans. Some fun facts I read up on INTJs Myers et al. (1998) examined the leisure pastimes of the sixteen types. The type that liked the item "Taking classes" most was the INTJ. And not only did they like taking classes the most, but they liked it more than any other type liked any other activity. INTJs liked taking classes more than ESTPs liked playing sports. INTJs liked taking classes more than INFJs liked writing (but only just barely). It would seem that taking classes deserves the status of "passion" for INTJs. No other type liked any other thing as much. Aside from taking classes, INTJs enjoy "appreciating art," "Playing with computers or video games," and "Working out/exercising." |

Okay a few things:
1. INTJ's are not the rarest. INFPs or INFJs are said to be. But truthfully there's no way that can even be accurately calculated 2. Crunchyroll Forum is a breedng ground for INTJ types. 3. The test is just a GUIDE, it is not concrete. It takes contemplation and personal reasoning. 4. You have to be emotionally stable, and past the teen years for it to be accurate. So if you're bipolar or something along those lines, expect skewed results some of the times. 5. Do NOT use Wikipedia as your guide for this. I am ENFP, almost textbook so. I want to save the world, love everyone, yada yada. I got the score and then I compared which ones I use more and I still believe I'm ENFP. MBTI is actually a passion of mine, and helped me to work on my weaknesses. As I said, the test is a guide. And it just helps you see what your primary functions are. We all use every function, some just more. If you don't agree with the results, use this as a guide: Favorite world: Do you prefer to focus on the outer world or on your own inner world? This is called Extraversion (E) or Introversion (I). Information: Do you prefer to focus on the basic information you take in or do you prefer to interpret and add meaning? This is called Sensing (S) or Intuition (N). Decisions: When making decisions, do you prefer to first look at logic and consistency or first look at the people and special circumstances? This is called Thinking (T) or Feeling (F). Structure: In dealing with the outside world, do you prefer to get things decided or do you prefer to stay open to new information and options? This is called Judging (J) or Perceiving (P). I prefer my External world and I gain energy by socializing. And I add meaning to everything. I love the abstract and to theroize, and take nothing at face value (iNtution). I tend to base decisions on people and circumstances and my emotions more than logic, but I'm a very low Feeler. But I still am MORE a feeler than a thinker, so that makes me Feeler. And as a Perceiver I love variety and trying new methods. A more indepth on it: http://www.myersbriggs.org/ personalitycafe.com My favorite EVERY SINGLE LINE of this below is me to a plus..and a fault Out of all the descriptions for ENFPs this is the one that had me go. "Whoa. Who spied on me?!" Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide DangerousYams wrote: Pretty different from what I scored in college as an: ESTJ NOW I'M: ENFP personality Your personality type: ENFP. Strength of individual traits: E - 58%, N - 10%, F - 6%, P - 33%. According to ENFPs, there are no meaningless events – every action, every little step we take, are supposed to mean something. Due to their inborn talent to sense other people’s motives, ENFPs prefer to see life as an exciting drama story, full of various opportunities for both good and evil. Only 5 percent of all people are believed to belong to the ENFP personality type; however, they are usually very influential. ENFPs do their best to stay approachable and genuine, sometimes even consciously choosing to act spontaneously for this reason. This personality trait is easily noticeable and contributes to the overall “likeability” of ENFPs. On the other hand, this can also be a disadvantage as the ENFP is likely to worry about not being sufficiently original or spontaneous. If they are not careful, this personality trait can lower their self-esteem. ENFP personalities see intense emotions as an essential part of their life – however, they may also feel uncomfortable expressing them as this inevitably entails losing some control over their inner feelings. ENFPs constantly monitor their environment and it is unlikely that even a slightly unusual thing will slip through their eyes. They are great observers, able to focus on listening to another person without losing the ability to observe their environment. It is worth noting that ENFPs prefer directing all their attention to one person or event rather than observing them passively or randomly. One potential danger for people with the ENFP personality type is their tendency to analyse past events through the prism of other people’s motives, trying to find hidden meaning behind their words and actions. As this usually results in negative conclusions, ENFPs can make serious mistakes in evaluating some things. An ENFP may unconsciously seek data that would support their initial opinion – this trait should be recognised and avoided. Being very sensitive and constantly slightly stressed, ENFPs can often get bored if their environment remains the same for a long time. They love the creative part of almost every process, but are not so interested in the actual implementation of new ideas. ENFP personalities are usually characterised by high levels of enthusiasm, which can be very contagious. Unfortunately, this often becomes a weakness – ENFPs often find themselves surrounded by people who admire their wisdom, inspiration, courage and leadership; however, this puts a considerable burden on the shoulders of that particular ENFP. Still, ENFPs defend their independence very fiercely, fighting any signs of subordination. One of the most problematic areas for an ENFP personality is the need to focus on their work. Unlike other extroverts, ENFPs need some “alone time” periodically in order to be able to stop and think whether they are actually moving in the direction compatible with their values. Those ENFPs who manage to do this are usually very successful; the rest may be prone to abandoning various projects as soon as they see a new and exciting opportunity. This is another personality trait that people belonging to this type should be aware of. ENFP also dislike bureaucracy, both in principle and from a practical point of view. Finally, ENFPs have one more trait that makes them a truly unique personality type – the “nonsense button”. ENFPs can be very intelligent, serious, focused on the pursuit of a clear goal – but if they have an opportunity and wish to use it, they are able to instantly switch to the “nonsense mode”, for example, letting off the steam in a wild party. Once in this mode, an ENFP may even look as if they are intoxicated or under influence of other things. |

This is the EXTREMELY short version of the 'guide'. It can take months for someone to discern their type.Or years to fully develop into their type to begin with. This isn't the official test either. You have to pay for the real one. Also hello Haikinka! It's been a long time. |

And yes it's a permanent coming back! As long as I keep it balanced, and only come on a few hours a week, than I won't feel like "OMG why am I on CR all the freakin' time?" Plus I was thinking today why do I have a Premium Membership when I've only watched like 4 shows on it in an entire year. And it hit me. "Ah..I must really like the forums." Which bam! Led me back here. To keep this on topic, very ENFPish of me. |

I'm an INTP through and through.
But I think a lot of people are projecting their idea of what traits they think are desirable, which would explain why there are so many apparent INTJs in this thread. I think INTPs and INTJs are probably the types most people want to be like, because we're an enigma of sorts (not to sound arrogant, but I have met many people who are simply trying to fit the stereotype because of what a test told them, which is actually really obnoxious). We're perceived as interesting and mysterious, as well as highly intelligent with a streak of laziness (for INTPs especially). And our personality types depicted on television and in movies makes us seem more interesting to be. (Like L [INTP] or Dr. House [INTJ] or Tony Stark/Iron Man [ENTP]. Or even Sherlock Holmes, depending on which adaptation you watch.) I determined my type after much contemplation and research, it's not something a simple test can tell you. Sometimes it is correct, but many times, you have to do your own reading to figure out what you really are. I recommend looking at cognitive functions if you are really interested. They can be kind of difficult to understand at first, but they are definitely better for determining true types. I do think NTs are probably more inclined to appreciate anime, but I don't think the difference would be so large that 80% of the members on CR are NTs. (I am a personality enthusiast. I've been researching for years. It's something I guess you could say I'm passionate about.) Yes, PerC is a wonderful place. I've met more wonderful people there than on any other forum. |
