For personal stuff and games, I'm always some variant of Makoto Kamui, keeps things simple and makes it easier for friends to find me. For work, I found my favorite approach was RealFirstName-CompanyName - that way I could drop the name later if needed, or join something like Skype multiple times and keep everything completely separate.

for game communities and anime communities it is always very similar names. Nurarihyon16 for anime, Nurahyon16 on PSN, MikeIke16 on steam. Although I do use different passwords for everything, the names are all variations of these three

Yes, I do Actually, my usual name is MoxiRox, but I tried making my profile name that on here and it said someone took it (stealer lol) I wanted to add an exclamation point, but it wouldn't let me. So I added an "i" since it looks like one upside down ;D So if you see the username "MoxiRox" somewhere else, it's probably me! |

Somewhat. I also try to change it up if I do, such as capitalization, adding a number etc. I wish I could use one of my favorites again, but many sites do not appreciate having the word semen in a username. >:3

LOSazimuth is really the first time I've broken the norm for me. My handles are either Livid, Livi, LiviNovem, Livid_November, or LividusNovembris.
Why all the alterations? To keep the same theme without being monotonous. IDK it's just something I do. I love the word "Livid" and my favorite month is November so, there's the logic behind the names.
