(^_^) I usually celebrate with friends gaming or watching anime til midnight when I watch the New Year's Times Square Ball-drop.

Basically we used our Christmas stocking and left them out new years eve and father time would come and fill them with fun toys and other stuff. Now that I am older I just treat it like any other day.

The whole thing means pretty much nothing at all to me. I don't even get the day off from work so it is just like all the other days of the year. The only reason I notice it at all is because of other people talking about it.

	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 12/31/12 I ushered in this new year by watching a movie and then reading a few chapters in the great Star Wars book Shadows of the Empire by Steve Perry. Not the most eventful evening, but it certainly is a peaceful and relaxing way to start the new year. :) Best wishes to all of you in 2013!
