I would say that for digital jmanga.com is a great place to go, everything's categorized by genre so it's easy to find new titles which you may like, or for physical amazon has most of the titles I look for but it's not set out in genres like jmanga is

Good places to look for hard copies of manga would be your local comic shop, a lot of them carry manga now (however the selection might not be the best), and bookstores like Barnes and Noble are your best bet. Plus you might run into new people who like manga as well!

Amazon.com has better prices for hard copies of Manga. A lot of the time they will give you 4 mangas for the price of three. I agree that it is not organized well, but if you know what you are looking to buy you can always search when you get there. I have also see some good prices at right stuff.

For buying hard copies I'd suggest Half Price Books if you live in the US. Ever since I discovered them my collection just exploded in size, lots of great, hard to find and out of print manga but some newer ones as well, usually $5-6 each.

If you are looking for specific titles or just new manga in general, Amazon is your best bet. I usually only preview manga in Barnes and Noble as they can be a bit pricy over time.
