Praying in "wants" is to be praying in vain and I don't believe that's how God rewards people. But I do believe God manifestation is not of world goods,i.e; money, cars, and material things but virtues.
And that's where I believe, the doors starts opening in your favor. ^^

Wishing, I personally don't think so. I've wished for world peace and for diseases, stupidity and war to disappear, but it's still here.
Prayer yes since I'm a Christian. Prayer without faith and work will not work, so if you have to go make it happen if you want make changes to your life or someone else if I remember correctly what I was taught.

I was told to watch what I wish for and be specific cause if I don't I might get screwed. has happened.... I wanted this one Job once and I wasn't specific about it and they gave me the bitch work... so the next time I wished for a better job... I was a little more specific and I got what I wanted.

Being more dedicated to tasks
Giving a F*ck in general
waking up to a random pair of naked boobs every morning
inheriting a working Veritech from some eccentric, estranged billionaire relative
getting a super power for personal gain
looking fit while on the junk food diet plan and not having to workout
getting a lifetime reprieve on ever having to pay taxes ever again
crash landing on an island of hot amazonian warrior women who hold me as their King

Prayers does NOT WORK. That is the reason why sick people go to hospitals instead of churches, and there is something called placebo which many believers experiment.

I dont believe in wishing or praying, I feel like doing things like is trying to change the outcome of the future and if its not meant to happen then its not going to happen. But i do believe in hard work and karma.
