Ex. Now I have Kanade from Angel Beats, (Angel Beats is one of my favorite shows) And I liked her character the most Now if I were to put my real life photo on this forum, which is mainly focused on Anime, Manga and Drama, I don't think it would really match, sure I do have one picture of myself here, but it's not my Profile Picture, because I want to try to be one with the community, if I could say so xD That said, I don't think there's a problem with having a real life picture as the profile AVI, because all in all, the profile picture is what should resemble your user account, and what is better to resemble your user account, than yourself

I even had my Facebook linked to my account for a while, but I didn't like having my full name plastered on my profile on a site filled with so many trolls. Facepalming Kyon just seemed more appropriate for the tone of most of the posts I make on here.

I wouldn't mind using of picture of me in real life but the fact that I look younger than I am might raise some questions. I'm also quite paranoid of the fact that certain parts of the internet might not accept me for my racial standing. Besides my mother would never allow posting any "personal information" on the web she would have a heart attack. In some events she would even want me to fake my age to other people in real life. I don't see the problem with age. I mean there are hundreds of people my age on the internet...How is posting my age going to stand out from all the other 15 year olds?

Listing your age when you're an underage girl, in particular, paints a target on your back that only pedobears can see. It's unnecessary, is all. Most information people post on the internet they do so unnecessarily, and it exposes them to risks that otherwise would not exist.

Kinda wish I would've kept my old Sankarea pic; I liked having a longer avatar. But oh well. It's Magi now.

I feel you should post whatever you like simple as that. Plus how many creepy people out here it would be better to post something other then your real picture
