I guess I'll have to be more careful when I use Google Translate to not miss those details(this season is the first that I am using Moon Phase and using Google Translate on Japanese pages). Thanks for pointing that out. Note that google translate does not understand late night as meaning the next morning. E,g, It thinks 2:00am late night on the 5th is 2:00am on the 5th when it is really 2:00am on the 6th. |

ANN reports that a number of Anime companies will be launching a new overseas streaming site in April. The article says that it will have over 500 titles, and seems to imply that simulcasting will also be a part of it. ADK, Toei, Aniplex, Sunrise, TMS, NAS, and Dentsu are listed as the companies involved. I wonder if this is the website that Sam Pinansky mentioned on ANNCast last March, though he discussed crowdsourcing and a focus on older titles. It will be interesting to see where this website is available and how it impacts the rest of the streaming companies.

I am wondering if this has anything to do with that super-secret project that BK has mentioned. I hope Daisuki isn't another NicoNico that nobody in North America liked and it delayed some Crunchyroll simulcasts because NicoNico had them first. They are mentioning titles like One Piece, PMMM(which is North America only on CR) and Prince of Tennis. We also don't know what "overseas" means. I sort of wonder if someone like Anime on Demand shouldn't be more nervous than the North America streaming sites since I imagine there is a lot of room to stream to Europe and Australia for titles that are even only a few years old. |

That is the same timeslot that both seasons of Fate/Zero was in, as well as Sword Art Online and currently being held by Oreshura . I still think it's it very likely that this show will be streamed by Crunchyroll. Whether it gets a delay of a week due to Aniplex's involvement in Daisuki or not remains to be seen. |
