Does NISA actually have the streaming rights for the series? I notice Funimation still has it streaming on their site and Hulu. Unless Funimation's contract was written in a way where they lost exclusive rights for streaming when they failed to license the series for home video, NISA may only have home video rights.

There will be some streaming annoucements by Crunchyroll at Kawaii-Kon. I can't remember if their panel is on Friday or Saturday but expect Oreimo 2 to be officially confirmed(Aniplex USA let that one out of the bag already). According to Fandom Post that panel is actually tomorrow at that time. Kawaii Kon's own site says March 15-17. (also confims that that panel is tomorrow-edit) So the tumbler page likely had the date wrong.
Aniplex of America and Sentai have Saturday panels so I expect Oreimo 2 to be mentioned again in AoA's panel. Sentai will likely announce some new licenses but might not annouce a simulcast. If Sentai does, it would probably be Photo Kano or Samurai Bride(although they could announce something like Karneval).

I'm just getting the time right ~ the date is up to others. See pistolsaf ~ it can't be 5pm EDT on March 14th, when the con starts on Friday.
I was busy grading today, and spent too much time on two other pieces of news, so I'm happy that it wasn't today.

Sorry, didn't mean to shoot the messenger or anyone else for that matter... Just anxious to know as always what I will be able to watch on my favorite site!
Having a mountain of unread Japanese novels and manga means I almost hope I won't be watching 23 weekly released simulcasts here again next season. Those are the ones I am still watching, was closer to 30 before I lost interest in a few. With so few series I watch continuing aside from Space Brothers that number should drop. I also almost hope the shows aren't so good that I have to buy so many! 2012 was just an awesome year for great anime and it looks like I will be buying more winter 2013 series than 2012 winter. Spring so far not so eye catching but as always I will likely be surprised by a few wonderful gems.
Come on Crunchyroll, make me wish you didn't pick up so many good titles! LOL

The Devil is a Part-Timer one is the one with Maou-sama in the name. Looks like Devil Survivor 2 and Samurai Bride are extremely likely to be Sentai(and thus likely to be on Crunchyroll) as well as Devil is A Part-Timer and Yuyushiki. UtaPri 2 might be limited to North American with Sentai licensing it since that is also an Aniplex show. |
