For US and Canada
Starting tomorrow April 5 at 7 pm pacific

From those regional restrictions, It looks like Cruncyroll also get Samurai Girls as a catalog title (Phi Brain had a very similar situation there).

Yup, that's kinda of I thought as well.

Not only was Samurai Girls licensed by Sentai back in 2010, when they were only picking up North American rights, but its also since been licensed by Kaze in Europe and Madman in Australia/NZ, so its likely Samurai Bride streaming rights in the DVD R2 and R4 regions were likely never on offer.

I have. It is quite........ interesting! The story goes very weird and very dark verrrrrrrry quickly. If you can't stand constant darkness and consistent vulgarity, you may not like it. Then again, who knows if the anime will be as, for lack of a better word, raw as the manga.

Holy shit, Aku no Hana here on CR. Wow. Unbelievable. This is one of the most anticipated shows in my opinion for the season.

I have and the manga is kinda like mindfuck but presented in a psychological way. There is romance but in a more dark way with blackmail, prejudice, and also explores some human behavior involved in a petty relationships. In other words, there's none of that shoujo school stuff but rather in a more of a twisted way. There are over 40+ chapters translated. Given the director as well as the studio, I am very very excited for this.

Aku no Hana is not a delaycast, it's a simulcast with one of the later TV airings

http://fansubdb.com/wiki/Aku_no_Hana

It's a simulcast with either the Sun TV or Gunma TV airing. Since CR doesn't get simulcasted with Animax that eliminates the first two airings.

A useful link. And, yes, the Animax channels are cable / subscription satellite, so they don't count.

But its after the broadcast premier, so I guess a stickler could say its a simulcast, although not a premier simulcast.

Wikipedia has an article on these Japanese Association of Independence Television Stations stations, suggesting they are popular for certain type of anime because they end regular programming earlier in the evening, and since they tend to have lower ratings than others in their area, sponsoring an anime series on their station is probably cheaper.

It says that Sun TV and TV Kanagawa are more involved in selling programming to the others in the network, so it could indeed be Sun TV that objected to the series being simulcast before they had a chance to broadcast it. Of course its Wikipedia, so take it with a grain of salt and all of that.
