Good to see that at least somebody is keeping up with the charts. Neregate still hasn't started on Spring yet and I don't know if we'll ever get a Winter chart from Animucharts.

Animucharts has stated in their Twitter feed that the winter chart will be skipped.

I debated using the 0.2b chart for an update last night, but the problem with that chart is that when reduced to 640 pixels wide for the forum version, even the series titles become unreadable (a problem I haven't noticed with Neregate and Animucharts, although they are on the edge of legibility of the titles at that size).

Update to initial message (Tuesday, January 15, 2013 @ 1:29 AM CST):

Added reduced size version of NihonOmaru version 0.2b chart and link to full size version.

To keep the titles on the NihonOmaru chart legible at a smaller size, I had to go wider than the forum image recommendation of 640 pixels. If this causes a problem for anyone, let me know what device and browser you are using.

Read the synapses for the all the shows higurashi kaku and oreimo cont should be good Shingeki no kyojin seems like it could be the next show for anime fans to go "ERMAHGERD BEST SHOW EVARS", but yeah I'm mildly intrigued devil survivor 2 and Namiuchigiwa seem interesting enough to give them a watch and am I the only one who got horrible flashbacks to school days while reading the synapses for aku no Hana. I mean don't get me wrong I'm gonna watch it if only out of morbid curiosity but I'm preparing my soul for what may and hopefully won't be witnessing .

EDIT: There is a tweet that says that this is pre-air before it appears on TV in April.

While i was very displeased with the lack of overall quality of the winter line up, i feel very hopeful for the Spring line up.

Aku no Hana: At first i was going to skip this, but i had a change of heart when i saw Mushi-shi's director Hiroshi Nagahama at the helm, directing what appear to be a Psychological Romance so looking forward to that.

Arata Kangatari: looks somewhat interesting,, while the Director has had little notable work with the exception of some participation in Fullmetal Alchemist, Satelight is a respectable studio and has a decent resume, including work on the Hellsing Ultimate series, Fairytale, and the Macross franchise, so i think i'll give this one a quick look.

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan): I think is one of the three titles i put down as a sure-fire 'yes' ,with what looks like an incredible premise, and even more promising is seeing Death Note director Araki Tetsurou, and it's script writer Yasuko Kobayashi, handing Series Composition, so definitely excited for this one.

Crime edge : definitely a maybe, not crazy about the premise, and while director Yuuji Yamaguchi, has had a respectable resume with specific episode direction on Outlaw Star, and Directing Fate/ Stay Night, i can't say im a big fan of Studio Gokumi, who'd done mostly Slice of life work's, so a quick look, just in case.

Karneval: i think this one holds some promise, a strange premise, but i'm still going to give this one a chance, seeing as it's Studio Manglobe taking charge, their a great studio that have done some great work, like Deadlands Wonderland, Ergo Proxy, Michiko to Hatchin, and the incredible Samurai Champloo, So i think i'll give this one a chance.

Suisei no Gargantia : the second title i was immediately sure i would watch, Especially considering, Not only does it have on hell of an interesting premise, but it appears Code Geass's assistant director Kazuya Murata will be at the helm, but even more impressive, is in the writers chair is none other then Gen Urobuchi, who has had quite the impressive profilo of work, including his creation of the Fantasy epic Fate / Zero, Script writing for Madoka Magica, script, storyboard, and Series composition work for Pycho Pass, and Scenario, storyboard work for Requiem For the Phantom, add in a veteran studio like Production I.G and this looks like a home run. So im very excited to see this air.

Hataraku Maou-sama!: Now i cant say the premise really got my attention, amusing but a bit slice of lifeish, and while the Director,Naoto Hosoda has certainly had some noticeable work including Shuffle!, and Mirai Nikki, it's not what got me to change my mind. What got my attention was the fact that the studio in charge of this production was Studio White Fox, personally one of my favorite studio's who have produced some A-Class work, from the runaway hit Steins Gate, to lesser known gems like Katanagatari, and Jormungand. so i think i'll step out of my comfort zone for this one, and give it a try.

RDG: Red Data Girl: A bit on the fence for this one, the premise sparked some interest, but not quite enough that i was sure if id check this one out of not, didn't help that i'm not all that big of a fan of director Toshiya Shinohara, who had done a lot of work on the Inuyahsa film's, but i can respect P.A Work's, responsible for work on series such as Another, and Angel Beats, so i'll give this one a quick look.

Kakumeiki Valvrave: not a lot to look at yet, but hey it's a Mecha series from the leading authority of the genre, Sunrise, so i'll definitely give it a look when it airs.

AND....of course probably the biggest reveal for both the Winter and Spring line up's, which reminds us... You Can't Run Away >:)

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kaku: after finding just a few title's i was sure i wanted to watch for the winter and spring listings, i was quite disappointed.. but when i saw THIS, the very last title on the listing ... my eyes lit up and i could not have been happier! seeing what would appear to be ether a canon side story, continuation or reboot of one of Anime's most prestigious Horror / Mystery series was enough for me to squee like a school girl, this is a 100% YES on my list, and i eagerly await for the air date.

So in terms of Series, Definitely outshines the Winter line up! Look's to be a great Season for anime this Spring!

Aiura seems like it would be like nichijou, hopefully its just as good. It'll also be interesting to see if they make Hayate S4 better than 3. Looking forward to those along with Oreimo 2. I think it'll be a good spring.

Still kind of wondering why Devil Survivor 1 isn't getting an anime but Survivor 2 is. Was it the more popular game or something? It's just weird to me lol I still want to watch it though haha

It's not exactly Pre-Air. The TV broadcast premiere is in April as you mentioned but it'll have regular weekly streaming schedules on Niconico starting on March 16th.

Haha. Crap. I thought I saw somewhere that Girls & Panzer was releasing around the end of February, but I checked around for update content and it was only few TBA's that were filled in. Nothing noteworthy to have to post it on the web.

I know about the Katanagatari rerun, but I found putting it in pointless. Maybe once there is a fat list of anime titles and it won't be a chore to re-order the titles according to air date, but still pointless. People will think it's a second season. :/
