5 Flowers of Evil

8 Henneko – The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat

11 Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet

Sentai announced Photo Kano. Since Crunchyroll announced Photo Kano on the same day as SNAFU, and those two are the only two simulcasts presently up as streaming in France on KZPLAY, I'd treat SNAFU as all but announced as well.

The last TAN news blog teased Sentai license announcements, so I'm expecting them to fill up the anime news cycles with release announcements this coming week:

Sentai Filmworks recently announced their acquisition of Photo Kano, one of the new season anime to premiere in April. No word yet on any other acquisitions, though I have a sneaking suspicion that more are on the way.

Anime on Demand is still alive! Without warning, they put up episode 1 of My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, and they say there are three more series to come.

We can be reasonably sure that one of the three is Photo Kano, since KZPLAY is streaming that one on the same say as they stream My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU ~ and on the same day that AoD has announced MTRC:SNAFU starting.

Where was this announced, twitter? I don't see any update to the news on their site.

They never post announcements there. They put them on facebook and usually on twitter as well (this one has only been announced on facebook).

Pretty idiotic to not even mirror their facebook announcements to their news section at the site ~ it makes the site look like it was abandoned in 2012.

Okay, liking this season so far. Crunchyroll never disappoints. I am not much into the romance and slice of life animes. So, I usually ignore the majority of those. Here is what I am thinking so far. (Edit - Added formatting to make reading easier.)

Must Watch:
Majestic Prince - Funny with fighting robots. There is lots of potential here to go several directions with the story. The characters are a little flat but, that may get better as we go. As of yet, it hasn't detracted from the show much.
Valvrave the Liberator - Looks like some form of Gundam clone. But, it is well done. Don't miss the Ty and X-wing fighters in the first episode (Not exactly but, it is obvious that that was the inspiration.) This could do something unique though. Animation is an A+.
Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet - Setting up to be a unique story with lots of rounded characters. Lots of detail work here with both the art work and story points.
Attack on Titan - Haven't made it to this one to try yet. Everyone else seems to like it though. Going to give it a shot as soon as I get home from work tomorrow. Edit - Moved from unknown to must watch. This series is awesomeness distilled and bottled. If they follow through on what they have in the first episode this will be one of the best of the year.
HENNEKO-The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat (Edit: Added)- This one slipped under my radar but, thanks to a forum post, I tried it. I have to say, this is not what it appears to me. While it seems like another harem anime on the surface, it is actually about the social and emotional development of the characters. There are plenty of gags as well. This actually well put together as far as the story and characters go. The animation is alright but, that is not what drives this show in any way. Definitely recommend giving this a shot but, go to at least episode two before you make a decision.
Oreimo - I can't believe that I missed season one of this. It is like a running gag real. The characterization is spot on. I don't know really what to say other than watch it. I don't really see how anyone could go wrong with this one.

Unknown:
Edit - Moved Attack on Titan to must watch.

Okay but, not top of the list:
The Severing Crime Edge - Weird. But good in many ways. Not everyone's cup of tea but, I seem to like it. For now.
Arata the Legend - Not sure about this one. Could go either way. Will probably keep it around unless it just bottoms out.
Karnival (Edit) - Looks to be pretty good but, I don't see anything blockbuster here yet. However, the artwork is awesome though. And the characters seem to have some depth to them. Definitely a gonna watch but, I am seeing better series so far. Definitely worth a look, it might appeal to others more than me. (Funimation/Hulu)
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU (Edit - Added) - This one seems to be really decent. SNAFU is about the right word for the characters but, none of them are really wrong. If you are into character development animes, this is the one for you. There are also a few gags and laughs to be had. All said, I think this one is worth your time.
The Devil is a Part-Timer (Edit - Added) - This is a kinda weird romantic comedy type show. But, the characters are fairly entertaining. Overall, this series is interesting and funny with promises of a lot of development. (Funimation/Hulu)
Red Data Girl (Edit - Added) - I don't really know what to make of this one several episodes in. The action is paced but subdued with almost a LASER beam focus on character history and development. I can't say there is anything bad with this series in anyway. In fact, there are hints of a much larger plot that has not been touched on. I guess you can say that the whole construction seems somewhat contrived at this point. However, in all likelihood, that is because there are so many pieces missing. Definitely enticing but, kinda on the light side. (Funimation/Hulu)
Devil Survivor 2 The Animation - Who wouldn't want an app to summon demons to slay your enemies? Seems like a unique anime with a good story. Edit: This series has been demoted. It isn't bad but, so far it is just not living up to expectations. The story is becoming kinda fractured and the characters are not really developing. It is still early but, this series will have to kick it into over-drive to catch up to some of the other series. The over all feel of the series is reminding me of Guilty Crown. I dropped that one for the same reasons. I hope this one does better. (Edit: Moved from Must Watch)

Don't Know if I Will Keep
Mushibugyo - Could be good, could be another Ixion Saga. Not really seeing the potential here but, I am giving it a go.
Samurai Bride - I dropped the first season so, it is likely that I will drop this one too. But it is kinda funny, so who knows.
Zettai Boei Leviatan - Cutesy and funny. Might keep around for laughs. Not expecting big things here.
Date A Live (Edit-Added) - Basically, you are watching an animated dating sim. The plot is thin and many of the characters are one dimensional. There is potential here, however. I don't know how this one is going to go. It may make something of itself or not. So far, the little bit (very little) of hype around this show is not deserved. (Funimation/Hulu)

Dropped:
Flowers of Evil - I couldn't stand the art work and pacing. I know that the quality is actually very good because of the detail work but, the retro-scoping drove me nuts. And the pacing is very slow. The first fifteen minutes could have been condensed to about five. People that have read the manga say that this is a really good freaky one. Which is unfortunate because I like those (Higurashi is one of my favorites.) Give it a try, if the art work and pacing are tolerable to you, then you will probably like it. I couldn't get past it.
Photo Kano (Edit: Added) - Kinda funny in a way. If you like slice of life shows, you will probably enjoy this one. Me, I am not really into it. That said, there seems to be something engrossing about this series. I am not sure what it is. Edit: I ended up dropping this one. While there is a certain allure to this series, it seemed to kinda drift to me. It just couldn't hold my attention. I can't say it is bad; just not my cup of bitter tea.
(Edit: Added Catagory and moved appropriately) (Edit: Moved to Dropped.)

Other:
Karnival - not on Crunchyroll so i haven't looked at it (I think I have plenty to watch already. I may pick it up later if I have time.) Viewers are raving about this one too. It is on Hulu and Funimation. Edit - Moved to 'Okay but, not top of the list',

It also looks like they're going into their third season without charging for membership.

And their third season of promising that "next season" they will be starting "something really cool".

Have Arata and Samaria Bride been confirmed anywhere, or is that just based on a UK notch-out in the Crunchyroll license?

Educated guessing Samurai Girls was also a Kaze title, and I thought Arata was under the Viz banner?

Samarai Bride and Arata are the only two North American only licenses for Crunchyroll this season, so they are reasonable guesses.

We've got another confirmed Spring anime(and this one has an odd date). FansubDB lists Tenshi no Drop(Angel's Drop) as a TV Special premiering on May 12th on AT-X. AIC Frontier is the studio.
