I'm only planning to watch these so far, I'm not seeing much that catches my interest.

For sure:
Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 - Now this I'm stoked for. I know it was discussed earlier in the thread but I hope Funi or someone does end up simulcasting or licensing it.
Aku no Hana - This is the other big show for me in Spring. It has the same director Hiroshi Nagahama and one of the main script writers as Mushi-shi which was phenomenal. From what I've heard about the manga it sounds like something I'll be into too.
Kaze Tachinu & Kaguya-hime no Monogatari - The two new Ghibli films. I'm about equal when it comes to Takahata and Miyazaki and the same goes for my interest in both of these films.
Kick-Heart - I was flat broke during the Kickstarter campaign so I hope they decide to stream it or something later on. Even with it being Yuasa I don't expect more than it being just a fun OVA though.

Maybe:
Susei no Galgantia - I like how it looks from the trailer but I haven't been too impressed with anything Gen Urobochi has written so far. Psycho-Pass has been decent but it suffers from his usual problem for me of characters I can't connect with. The negative response to the recent FMA film, though I haven't seen it, doesn't inspire confidence in the director either. We'll see how it turns out.
Kakumekei Valvrave - It's got okay staff working on it but it's looking like a generic Sunrise/Gundam mecha show. I'll see what the reviews say first.
Hal - The premise kinda has my interest. It has mostly new main staff though so it could go either way.

Hayate no Gotoku! Can't Take My Eyes Off You 2 - Loved Can't Take my Eyes off You more than any of the Hayate seasons ~ So this is a definite!
Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai 2 - Been waiting FOREVER for this one!
Yuyushiki - Looks to be a short, but looks like my sort of show.
Girls und Panzer (episode 11) - Loved this show to death! But only one episode? Still, definitely watching this.

Maybe:
Date a Live - Could be interesting?
Aiura - Seems like it might be interesting

All in all this seems like a pretty lackluster season. I know there's more changes bound to come, but I can't see anything making that much of a difference. Still, that'll mean I finally have a season that's ripe for working on my backlog. Which I REALLY need to work on...

Two episodes of Girls Und Panzer, not just one. 11 and 12 to wrap things up in March.

I have a huge book backlog. Anime I seem to keep up on for the most part. I thought the winter looked pretty thin but including the continuing series I am quite busy. I am sure spring will have enough surprises to keep me busy as well.

It always seems that way at first, doesn't it? And before you know it, you'll be looking to find time to watch all the new series you picked up + all the continuing series.

Every season, you'll hear the same thing from people complaining about a lack of good upcoming series. Especially when only a portion of the series have been confirmed. At present, there's only about 30 confirmed for Spring. And we can expect probably another 10~15. I'm sure there will be enough to keep just about anyone busy.

Comment: Listed by FansubDB. As this has been listed in at least two prior seasons without premiering, it should be considered suspect until it is at least listed by Countdown.

Note to TheAncientOne: Countdown has added it for the Spring season (April)

I'm only drawn to Red Data Girl. Once again, for the second year in a row, spring looks like the weak season of the year.
Then again, Little Busters will be ridiculously difficult to top, as will Tamako Market. I guess my expectations weren't met.

I have a pretty big backlog of manga I'd say, but I can breeze through manga. I've gone through entire volumes in less than a half hour.

With anime it doesn't matter how fast I can read, it still ends in the same amount of time....skipping ops/eds/recaps helps, but still...

And good. Two episodes. Not sure what they can pull off with that, but really hoping they leave it open for another season!

Great list! Spring looks to have more than winter did this far ahead of the season. Hope Crunchyroll gets all of those but haven't looked at studio relationships yet to see what Funi and Anime will likely get.

I am reading in Japanese where I am still slow, takes me 3-4 hours per volume but it used to take me even longer... If I just look at the pictures it is faster but that's not a good idea! Most manga require at least some reading to understand what is happening. Watching an adapted episode of Anime is faster than me reading the original material still. My goal is to be able to finish manga volumes in Japanese in 1-2 hours, half or a quarter of my current time. Gambarimasu!

Anime time is constant you are right unless you skip entire episodes.
