I feel the same way when I am at college, and will probably continue to feel this way when/if I get a job. You are not the only one that feels cut off from society.

Bullied me in 5th and 6th grade. It really traumatized me.
Also some of my friends were joking about suicide when I take it very seriously, especially since I almost lost 2 of my friends to suicide.

Let's see...had everything in my house stolen by ex b/f and family while I was sick,same guy threw lighter fluid on me and threatened to turn me into a human torch(Lol),doctors cutting on me with no anesthesia(it's cheaper that way),my mom totally cut me out of her life for about 3 yrs while she was married to a guy like 20 yrs younger(she was a liar,so I didn't exist), and right now my best friend isn't returning my calls and I can't even imagine why.Know what? I've forgiven all and broken the chains that bound me to those experiences and made me miserable and disconnected and distrusting.That's the biggest favor I could have ever done for myself.There are good people here you can connect with as well as real life too-believe it.

The whole of general society telling me to be a "man".

well i haven't really had anything really bad happen to me before i was bullied when i was younger and for a we while when i got older it stopped. i am just very distant from everyone in my life really i don't trust anyone except my best friend who lives in a different country now :/. all my friends are really childish pretty much everyone in my year is and i am quite mature so i don't fit in with any of them. i dont like to go out drinking like half the people i know i just like to have a laugh. i haven't got anyone i really even speak to anymore except one girl i know |
