I can't say much since I've never been in a relationship but...
If it was someone I respected and/or like/love, then there is no need for an objective reason to fight.
I'd crush the problem plaguing my would-be love by any and all means possible/necessary.

Fight for love....? Hmm, my feelings are that it shouldn't be much of a fight....
If you're at the point where you need to do drastic things to keep a relationship going, haven't you passed (or failed) some crucial point?

I believe that if you found the right person, you shouldn't have to try to "make it work". It should be as effortless as possible.
If someone keeps finding flaws with your action/beliefs, then you shouldn't be with that person, they're obviously "loving" you just physically.
I don't believe in love. I do believe humans can form long lasting bonds similar to friendship though.
