That makes it sound like you're still typing at a DOS prompt. DOS is dead man! Let it go! Come join us in the wonderful world of windows (not necessarily Windows)!

Hahah, I can't believe you pointed that out. I thought that after posting it. I'm pretty great at using the correct tense in my sentences, aren't I?

I suppose I am in some areas, but the domain of "technology" is far too wide for anyone to clain to being a tech guru.

I'd say I'm an expert programmer in my fields, but that doesn't mean a tech guru. Some people tell me that since I don't love Linux, I'm a terrible person and should go back to Windows/mama/whatever, even though I can use it quite well (and have to, for certain game consoles that I code on). Obviously I'm into tech, though.

Back when i was 16 i went into an IT class...an never had to do any work. No, instead when the teacher was busy He made my best friend and myself teach the class for him! Being 21 now, i can say i've definitely...become smarter over the years. I always end up fixing everyones PCs anymore...even their networking lol.

I'd say I definitely am or close too a serious techy.

Yeah, it does depend on what you mean about guru, but I'm sure we'd have some interesting discussions. I know a number of us work in the tech industry and have extensive computer backgrounds.

Same as others have posted... I've put together my own computer(which was pretty easy, but still). =P I can debug problems fairly well, program to an extent, etc...
