JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (2012)
|
Preview Phantom Blood:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdFOvoitOuk Battle Tendency http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGVSViecHWE Synopsis This is the story of the Joestar family, and their battles against bizarre enemies. Jonathan Joestar's battle against the vampire Dio Brando starts it all, and it continues into roughly each second generation of Joestars through all parts of the story. Characters & Voice Actors The main characters are named Jojo but here's also a full list of some of the other characters: http://myanimelist.net/anime/14719/JoJos_Bizarre_Adventure_%282012%29/characters Other Information Type: TV Episodes: 26 Status: Currently Airing Aired: Oct 6, 2012 to ? Producers: David Production, Warner Bros. Genres: Action, Adventure, Shounen, Supernatural First Impressions Well, I'm pretty surprised this series hasn't been mentioned much around here. It's one of my favorites so far and is currently on its second arc, also known as Battle Tendency. The first episode was quite impressive for me especially with Dio. The material is pretty consistent with the manga so that's also a good thing. I loved the themes of the series and the characters. The series resumes airing this week again and I can't wait :P Dio ftw: Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide |

This is a really great anime. It gets better every episode. I love Part 2 more than Part 1 in almost every way.

This is simply my favorite anime of 2012! I love it! Hope they go at least to Part 3 : Stardust Crusaders (Heard it's the best part)

Deviate from the mainstream, you must not. #yodavoice

Seems like I'm not the only one who thinks that part 2 is better than part 1. I honestly found Jonathan a little annoying. Dio made part 1 great IMO. Joseph on the other hand is a better Joestar and a better overall character than Jonathan.

The pilot episode got me into this series after watching Dio's character and his role in part 1. I'm still new to the Jojo franchise but it sure started off well. |

I'm enjoying the series so far but, man were the older stories heavy on the Exposition
seem to spend 5 minutes explaining every move they do. Just a sign of the times the older volumes were written in I guess. Still loving it though, can't wait till they reach Stone Ocean. |

I think what makes it better is the fact that I picture Gintoki as Joseph. Such a great voice actor, Tomokazu Sugita.
One of the most enjoyable things about the anime has to be the ending music and I love all the rock references. A LOT of the names are named after bands heh. |

I only watched the first 2 episodes. I'll probably marathon the whole series after it finishes and after I finish reading part 2 of the manga. Sadly the anime is only 26 episodes. I hope they make another season for part 3 because I've read that it's the best one. |

Great anime! No doubt, a creative story. I don't like the character art though, don't like it in the manga either, this might be one reason it hasn't caught on here yet. i have the habit of reading the show summery and viewing the small picture next to it when deciding whether or not i'm going to view an anime. If i don't find something in the picture attractive, i may not view it. It's freakish in Japan how guys into the manga will strike poses like the characters

I have a somewhat arrogant aesthetic though. I enjoy it being subtitled, so I don't have to pay as much attention to the cg. |

I have read the manga for years, Years! It started as shonen which they are animating now but switched to seinen in 2004. But sadly it isn't licensed so I won't be watching it until someone, hopefully Crunchyroll picks it up as a super late latecast or library title.
