I go through school by not interacting with others, and I try to learn as much as possible.
Though, there are always stupid people who try to befriend you and interfere with your school work.

That being said, i'm like this, lets say, 99% of my school-day.

(Sorry for my spam of commenting on posts.)

Actually, no. i hate school. I've grown to hate it since the 3rd grade because I was always the main target of being bullied and picked on. I didn't even do anything to them, they just always picked on me and treated me as if I had no feeling towards it.

I keep wishing I could do online schooling because I would rather be isolated from everyone at school than be around them and pushed around, but my mom keeps saying: "I want you to graduate with your friends" and blah, blah, blah. I want to graduate with my friends too, but I don't at the same time because then I get the feeling that they won't be around anymore. I already lost one because of how I feel when I'm in school and another doesn't even pay attention to me.

Oh yes, School is a joyful place where everyone is a bloody family.

(Sorry, long post.)

I love learning new things, plus my major is my dream. Could do without the cost, though...

I didn't dislike it, it was just one of those things I did and was happy when it was time to go home so I could do what I wanted. I usually felt out of place being the geeky kid. Not in looks but in interests. When everyone was talking about what they'd done over the weekend and about football, me with my anime and video-game chatter was rather out of place. I had one friend who I'd talk to about that stuff but if he wasn't there at break time I'd just stand around and wait until it was time to go back to class. I'm still in contact with that friend luckily. Hell I'm only 17 and finished last year. I could've taken on a second year of my Sixth Form (pretty much an alternate to college) this year, but after my less than satisfactory results from the first year, I felt doing a harder second year would be a waste of time. It's not that I couldn't do it, but that I just couldn't discipline myself to revise. I don't know what my friend's thinking. He did worse than me but has continued on and taken on an even bigger workload. If nothing else, though, I admire his passion and drive for success.

I never liked it. I've always stuttered and have dealt with anxiety, so public school was never a joy for me. A lot of people were very rude for no good reason at all, and I was just disinterested with reality for most of my pre-teen years. As soon as I graduated high school I cried for over an hour because I was finally free, and I didn't even go to my graduation.

I hope college will be okay. I'm terrified of taking it to the next level because of how bad I got Junior/Senior year of high school, and thus took a year off to work and trying an recuperate my well-being. Everyone seems to like it enough, so.

I liked school. I was fairly different back then, had many different groups of friends but not very cultured or explored enough of what I love today.

I did like a lot more anime back then though but it's back in the era of when I classed pretty much all anime as good, nowadays I only like a very small portion of it.

Nothing was more exciting than when Naruto was first starting or watching Berserk, and all the VHS videos of Manga Entertainment movies bought from the market and getting all my friends to watch crazy stuff like Urotsukidoji. Also taking an entire week to download a Dragonball Movie on 56k internet was awesome and I was always grateful.

As for school itself, yeah it was fine, but I smoked a lot of weed, drank a lot with friends and did all of my exams half heartedly. Wish I studied harder.

My school resides in one of the most inbred places on Earth. An amazing phenomenon occurs here: Confused Rednecks - rednecks who drive big pickup trucks and blare rap music. In short, no.

I like school because even if i am secluded there its the only place i get to show how much smarter i am then everyone else and coming top in every test and seeing my name in first place is one of the best experiences makes having to spend the day with people who look down on you worth it to see there faces when i show them how much better then them i am.

I can see where the OP is coming from, High school was pretty fun now that i looked back on it. There were no problems about work or money. Everything just seemed so easy and peaceful. Once college started it was like 1 dollars was nothing and 100 dollars is 1 dollar. I had more friends back in day and i wasn't always stressed about what i was gonna do after school and how I'm gonna pay for this and that. I do miss when i could go to a class room and all my friend were there and we would all go eat lunch out in the courtyard and just talk about stuff like who is going out with who and what everyone was gonna do on the weekend. Hell sometimes i feel like my high school like was like Toradora at times.

Loved it. Loved highschool, Loved Naval training school, and loved college. Haven't been in a while, but I may go back. Nothin' heavy, I'm too old for that. Maybe just a quick course on world religion. But all in all, school was a pretty damned good experience for me.

School is an obligation for me, and I trudge through it. The clubs can be fun and interesting though. Was in the Japanese Culture Club and Minecraft Association at my local university this last semester.
