Is this season of anime going to be only 3-5minutes long if so WHYYYYYYYYY

Can understand why short anime are made in Japan for commercial breaks and announcing a new series. But crunchyroll has become the 3-5 butt end anime joke this season. Thanks for reminding me to cancel sub before payment taken in next few days LOL.

CR got more full length than shorts.
Second some of us like the shorts.
Third besides watching the new EPS I hate to give up my sub for those commercials.
Fourth less subs means shows.

Considering in the end only two standard length non-kids one cour or more anime premiering this season have not been licensed for simulcast, I hope your complaint is with the anime industry back in Japan, not with Crunchyroll.

One of those two actually has yet to premiere, but given that is a sequel of a long running anime series that has never been simulcast, I doubt that is going to change now.

Not really crunchyroll has missed out on several full ength anime whether it be from lack of trying, no luck with getting them or cost of getting license. This current coming season is starting to go the same way as past season and a half..... so far they are not seeing the light of a few decent full length titles. I keep eyes and ears open on English and Japanese sites to see who has what. After all watched Fate/Zero for free the week it was simulcast with Nico. If it's lack of funding I could understand, but even then they wouldn't have all the extra slush anime for these past few seasons. I think it may be lack of luck or no trying on their part.

Wow, there's more? Another Crawling Chaos was the only series I knew of that used that format. Oh well, hopefully they're all as good as Nyaruko.

Oddly with Nyaruko it was prequels and countdowns to actual anime. So far some of these newer shorts don't seem to lead into anything full length. they may be entertaining to some, but sadly I need character depth and story to go with.

For me in end Funimation just hit Roku so it'll be a season with my interests. Not trying to knock CR as a whole, but saying they are missing some good titles for second season in a row. In a sense it's like a mmo one will find ways to better suit customers with other tastes and stories vs quantity over quality. I am quality lover myself and I respect peoples opinions who like quantity >quality. Just threw my 2 cents in the ring.

By "missed out", I assume you mean they lost out to Funimation for 3 full length titles (vs. 6 last season), and to TAN for 2 (vs. 4 last season). Looks as if they are trying hard and having good luck to me.

The fact that the two other Funimation simulcasts are shorts should be indicative that the issue is the number of short anime produced in Japan, not Crunchyroll itself.

Yeah I'm getting tired of all the 3 minute shorts, the only ones I have really enjoyed were Hetalia and Recorder and randsell.
