Been reading the manga for this and pretty good so far. It employs the usage of economics and not the typical usage of "swords and fighting" to save the world type of theme. The interactions between the two main characters (Maou and Yuusha, also respectively known as Demon Queen and Hero) is very fun to watch for their personalities and dialogues.

Yup, this is going to be good~

The show is a huge reminiscence of Spice & Wolf, especially cast wise. The plot isn't exactly like S&W but I get some of those vibes. I'm not sure how excited I am for this but I'm fairly interested though this may be one of the more interesting shows I'm partaking in viewing for this season.

This is one of the two shows airing this winter that im thinking could be a gem. Spice and wolf was great

From the looks of the PV its possible its gonna be ecchi. I hope not though, most animes fail to have a good storyline when its under the ecchi category.

To me it seemed more classy then the typical echii shit. Spice and wolf was far from echii
If it was echii we would have seen at least 3 skirts fly up and 2 guys falling and landing on girls breasts

As long as it follows the manga's basic premise I'll be fine with it. Ecchi or not (depending on whatever you think of as 'ecchi') I'll be fine with it since I've seen plenty of anime with ecchi and a good story.

Loved it! I enjoyed watching the interactions between Yuusha and the Demon Queen. The way they met was funny. The OP song was kinda meh though imo. I liked the characters' designs of the show so far as well as the drama/comedy mixed in.

That ending scene was pretty funny and what the hell, the Demon Queen is wearing a headband?? LOL. Anyways, nice episode :3

I am ready to be educated and amused by the incredibly moe Demon Lord at the same time, seriously she is too cute
especially at the end there with her Hero hug pillow

This was a really good first ep, it justified my high anticipation of the show and I'm sure this will be a top show of the season

Quite hard to make out what I thought of the first episode; whilst I did enjoy it quite a lot, it felt a little fast pace. . .? I can't really describe it. I had expected the hero to be a bit more stubborn to the Queen's conditions but that wasn't the case so it felt like he accepted many of the conditions brought up without thinking it through. I must say that the Queen is a fun and funny character; her womanly body is quite a service to me and her traits are worth a few laughs. The show is fairly lighthearted now but I can see it raising critical issues with how the governments work, economics, and the effects of warfare on various people and becoming a "serious" work.

Well, a Demon King needs to practice for for when she meets her Hero.

I really liked the first episode.

I enjoyed the first episode and I am curious as to how this will unfold, so I will continue to watch this.

Yeah I definitely can't wait to see how this series plays out. The first episode was quite enjoyable.
