What a cute anime... and it does have a Spice and Wolf feel to it, and I loved S&W.

Great first episode! Great seiyuu talent. Music wasn't standout but that's OK. Will be watching this one for sure.

Hello indeed!

Very bouncy...

second the 'addiction' motion. Best start I've seen to an anime in a long while. I see the spice and wolf comparisons but it's also fresh. No way near a spice and wolf reprise.

and then i took a one -two punch to the funny bone...

"Just pretend you never saw that"... "I... I'll try."

The show is a huge reminiscence of Spice & Wolf, especially cast wise. The plot isn't exactly like S&W but I get some of those vibes. I'm not sure how excited I am for this but I'm fairly interested though this may be one of the more interesting shows I'm partaking in viewing for this season.

It's made by the same guy though right? I have high hopes that this will fill the void spice and wolf left.

Maoyu showed some promise. I'm very curious on how they'll subvert the corrupt human society and end the war through deception and manipulation.

So far seems pretty good. Same question in my mind after watching the first episode of Humanity Has Declined-- this could be interesting/insightful or annoying/preachy. Hopefully will be the former. (Also wondering what's on the other side of Maou's hug pillow...)

It takes me two episodes or more in any new series to warm up to a show, but this grabbed me in the first few minutes! It gives you plenty to think about with a little comedy and light pervertedness on her part keeps me hooked for every second. I guess what I'm saying is I found my first keeper of the season.

Liked the first episode. I'll give it the usual 3-episodes before I decide to keep going or not.

I'm definitely going to be following this one. I was getting a S&W vibe all the way through it as well. I laughed when I saw that everyone else felt the same way. Guess its to be expected when they have the same director.

really liked the first episode. definitely see why everyone is comparing it to spice & wolf. but, since spice & wolf was so good, I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing.

so um long war between humans & demons being going to one day the blue hero go charge in to slay demon king but surprise demon ruler is woman with big "meat".

give demon ruler/ruby eyes had waiting for hero to come give to explain all about the human vs demon war is like economics business to if go no matter who wins it will lead to everyone loses on this war.

so showing memory lantern, reasons to side with ruby eyes, & deals talkings so blue hero agree to contract to side with ruby eyes so all set now team-up find safer way peaceful way to end the battles.

all set give huh memory lantern show ruby eyes with blue hero pillow size & her horn were fake with that now the journey begins.

This is a fun anime, but its explanation of the necessity of war for geopolitical growth and stabilization is scarier than cow tongue lollipops.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_economic_expansions_in_the_United_States

What usually happens (as opposed to what they explained).

1) Large wars often produce unprecedented demands on industry and national workforce

2) This increased demand leads to price increases. Commodity prices can rise to over 100% Food, Healthcare, and anime

3)This often creates profiteering networks like our energy sector

4)The government will then put into effect price controls and perhaps rationing (food, healthcare, raw materials [metal for air craft carriers ] etc.).

5) Price controls can mess up your "free market" ideals and your net exports vs imports. Also Unions can become more pronounced to try to balance government and economic mandates.

6) Conscription and increased workforce demand place stress on families this psychology feeds back into the economy into paying off of debt, saving money instead of spending it etc.

7) This can mean the government gets less taxes (definitely State taxes on commodities). OR just borrows 8 days a week from China...

8) Government sometimes takes over essential industries (power, transportation, metal, energy etc). Once the war ends these can be propped up, maybe gracefully restructured (good luck), or just fall apart.

9) Not really expecting anyone to make it to point 9... but if you are reading this, I love you <3
