Yeah, not as good as the first episode. Setup I hope but the pace sure slowed. It was instant love in the first episode but... there was a good part or almost...

I only have one problem with this show, CR is translating their names literallly... so we have Hero and Queen as characters instead of Mao and Yuusha (spelling probly off).

I don't really see a problem with translating the names; and I don't even think that it is their name but the roles they play. I haven't gotten to episode two yet but this appears to be one of those shows in which the characters are nameless and are instead called by their roles.

Yeah I understand that... but if they left the titles untranslated, they would at least sound like names! It just seems really strange that Mao and Yuusha call themselves by their titles instead of their names since they are... lovers/a couple (Im guessing).

Having read the manga, I just call them Hero and Demon Queen. Works fine if you ask me.

Which of the 5 mangas??? Plus original light novels, so many versions of this one... I wanted to buy the books but the LNs are like 2500 yen each and I was confused by all the mangas... so I am just enjoying the show this time.

I does "work" its just... not sitting right with me.... *shrug* I'll just train myself to ignore the subtitles for their names. lol I do that when over-translation irritates me when I am enjoying a series.

so blue hero & red queen move to new area to start fresh with help build new land while help of red queen's top maid.
all well then something sneak to reveal 2 sisters who were lost & runaway slaves give head maid bit "grr" on them yet give them bit food yet head maid want them out.
but under terms the 2 sisters be more human & live normal they agree so now adopted both of them as maids all well more to go on it.

I enjoyed the episode. I agree that a lot of it is setup, but I think it's worthwhile since it's more fully expanding the world.
I have to say I didn't expect Maoo to be teaching the humans quite so much. I can't expect that will end well. You know how some parents get when they find out their kids are learning things that they themselves do not approve of.
