Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide A very sad ending. Ergo Proxy Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I was left feeling a bit frustrated with the rushed into, since I loved the entire series. It also took me a second viewing to absorb all of what they were trying to convey. Original FMA Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide It was just sad and left you wondering. Darker than Black Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I felt a lot of questions weren't answered, a bit angry. Berserk Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I hated the damn anime and I hated the ending but to end on that note was a huge slap in the face. In fact, I scolded my friend who introduced me to it. It's such an overrated anime. |

Everything has a name. So yours doesn't make you special.

Angel Beats has been the only anime i have seen so far to make me cry. Madoka Magica did the same thing, just for some reason i cant explain Angel Beats did it better.

The ending of Welcome to the NHK!
"It's not just dramatic! IT'S FUCKING DRAMATIC!!" |

I can't agree more! Welcome to the NHK deserves more content (at least the anime does, not sure if the manga/novels have more content after the anime ended or not). Eureka 7 (yes, I know Eureka Seven AO is the sequel, but so far I haven't felt any of the same feelings I had for Eureka Seven, they're just too different). Angel Beats Code Geass |

Angel Beats by far....I don't think any show, movie or some other form of media has actually left me noticeably depressed once I had finished it. I actually got up from the couch, walked to my room, turned off the lights and just slid into bed even though I was not tired in the least. I wasn't much in the mood for living.

The Manga and Novel do have more story, but they are several differences between the anime and each other. One of which is that Sato is a drug addict, rather than just insane. But yeah, I believe the manga is the longest, with the end of the anime being somewhere around the mid-point. From TvTropes: The book, manga and anime are each rather different in both story and themes. The anime and manga follow essentially the same plot until the manga's divergence from the novel, leading to its own, separate conclusion. The novel tends to be somewhat darker, focusing more on the characters' issues and less on the love story, which is essentially the focus of the anime, with the manga somewhere in between. There are significant differences in the specific way some events happen in the anime and manga, even when they're otherwise almost identical, which tends to bring out the change in tone. Many events of the novel (the fight scene, the visit to the church) never occur in the anime or manga, and vice versa (the "summer vacation", the entire second half of the manga). |
