Kokoro Connect hit me bad, made me sit down and re-evaluate a LOT of my life, especially how I treat my friends and family. Also Iori slowly hating the fake personalities she puts up for people resonated with me too, days afterwards I'd sit and wonder if the "me" people know is actually me.

And odd one, Spice & Wolf. Watched the end of season 2 and went up and cried on me bed for an hour or so, mainly because I was fairly miserable at the time and seeing the happy ending made me feel like s**t for being single for so long, to not have someone to share some companionship with

Shinsekai No Yori (From the New World). Although it may not have been the ending, but the astounding appeal that the last episode created.

I am not experienced in many Anime, if fact I just started watching, and I've heard that there is some hate for "The Big 3." Sorry for the digression, the ending that affected me the most was The Future Diary's ending. It wasn't the way that the last episode ended but more the plot twist and the hole the viewer felt after seeing the ups and downs of the two protagonists and their relationship. However, the anime itself was not the best anime I've seen by far, but I still think it was fantastic despite gimmicks and some ridiculous characters/plot points.

I just finished that series. That one's going to become a classic, no doubt.

I dunno about affected me, but. The second anime I ever watched was Akira, when I was like 9. That shit is confusing enough as is, let alone with a kid. The second one that comes to mind would be Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040............ I can't believe I remember the whole title. Anyways, the ending is confusing as hell, and as is tradition everyone is naked for some reason or another, then I watched that when I was 12. Another show around that time was Lain, that shit still doesn't make any sense, yet still produces feels. I've watched tons of shows between then and now, but the only ending that truly comes to mind is Clannad. I think I was 22 when i watched that, cried bitch tears that last episode. That and Elfen Lied.

I know of a couple shows that hit merely hard, I remember when I started to watch anime, for some reason I started off with literally all the heartbreakers. In order, I watched Angel Beats , This Ugly Yet Beautiful World , and the. Elfin Lied and every single one left me crying for a good 10 minutes. Not only that, right after I watched those shows, I went on to watch Clannad and boy can I tell you, I cried like a baby when that show reached it's peak.

Clannad Afterstory- Everyone can guess why if you've watched it.

Ookiku Furikabutte- (although I'm reading the manga!)- It ended happy, I was actually real happy, but the last few episodes also made me want to cry a lot. The change all the characters went through was pretty crazy.

Death Note-
The ending was extremely sad... which was to be expected, but still. Definitely wasn't a happy ending. I've always wanted to know what happened to Light afterwards, too. Maybe he became a Shinigami? That'd be interesting.

Mirai Nikki- By the end of the anime, I didn't like it too much- but the way it ended for Yuki made me a bit disturbed. Thank God for the redial ova.. Although I still don't particularly like the ending.
