I was pleasantly surprised, I had gotten through most of the episode and was pretty certain I wouldn't pick up episode 2. Though once we got to the whole fake boyfriend ploy it picked up for me, it definitely has kept me interested for at least one more episode. So here's hoping I'll have more than just Maoyu for new Winter 13 anime to watch.

The manga disturbs me. Further on it's not much about what it's like to be the fake boyfriend but it's more 'lets make a new club that has NOTHING to do with our relationship!'
I dropped the manga after the story went that direction. I can only hope they leave the club crap out of the anime and focus on the relationship.

Episode 2:
I think this anime is meant to feel purposefully slow
it isn't full of fanservice or random comedy but examines each of the characters actions and reasons for doing what they do
Like for example Chiwa in ep 2,
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I don't think she has actually figured out that she loves Eita yet, right now she only knows that she doesn't want him to leave her alone by being with Masuzu
she say she wants to be popular but she just wants to be with Eita
also Masuzu is devious in this ep, her personality so far is just being the manipulator and possessive lol
as of right now, I support Chiwa more than Masuzu

I for some reason like Masuzu... I dunno why, but I do... its not because she's hot (because she is) though.
I suspect that by the end of the series Eita and Masuzu will actually be in real-love with each other, or him and Chiwa.

Well, the second episode was slow indeed. I'm not sure how this series will go to be honest as the drama/rivalry so far (if there is one really) is mediocre at best.
But regarding the second episode, those Jojo references were funny. Masuzu sure is a sadist.

Didn't love the second episode. Was actually painful to watch in spots and was tempted to turn it off... I made it through but will see how long I last.
