I don't know, but after two episodes of this, I just can't say that I am a huge fan. It is extremely slow placed, and I can't really connect with any of the characters.....
I might give it one more episode, and I might not. It really depends on how bored I am. I might just wait to see if others say it gets better. Because as of right now, it is a little painful to watch :/ |

Man I'm really conflicted about this anime. I hate the comedy but I love the drama. I hope it doesn't turn into a cringe-worthy-skit-of-the-week comedy show. I like any scene with Chiwa in it but the other girl can go die for all I care. This episode just continues my love-hate relationship with it. Though, the love is slowly beating out the hate. I hope the next additions to the harem are likeable characters.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I do love that Eita is finally showing his cool side around the end, even if he is a lovesick idiot. I'm also glad that Masuzu showed a hint of goodness to her. |

I know how I expect it will go but it is the journey that makes these shows interesting, not the end. If the journey is too painful to watch and I'm not enjoying myself I may have to stop. Here's hoping it picks up but i have a feeling the sadistic nature of Masuzu is the attraction of the show. Will give it at least one more.My thoughts exactly. While funny in a sad, cruel way, the show is literally painful to watch. Three episodes in, and I'm losing hope. But maybe it's for Chiwa's own good--if Eita can't man-up to keep his closest childhood friend from being cruelly, deliberately hurt, then she's definitely better off without him. (Even if I do drop this show, however, I'll come back to watch an episode wherein Chiwa finally kicks Masuzu's butt--here's hoping!) |

I almost turned it off today during the serious battle turned comedy skit. Almost turned it off and dropped it. Thankfully I saw comments below which said it was a good episode and thought, well, a few more minutes of my life isn't too much to waste. Other than your standard baka male MC not realizing his childhood friend loves him and the cringe worthy comedy... I don't know. I had the BDs in my "saved for later" shopping basket but there is no way I'm buying something I have to fast forward through parts of... I still hope the rest of the season will save it but I am not sure it is salvageable. Time will tell... It is funny as I have read some of the manga and it isn't this cringeworthy but it is later. I haven't actually read the beginning. Even later the manga isn't a favorite... more generic harem which I usually love but I guess this one just wasn't meant to be a favorite of mine. moonhawk81 wrote: hpulley wrote: mipegg wrote: I think Ill stick this one through, it has the makings of something that could be great. Chiwa is sure hnnng worthy. But having read the manga... these things... rarely go the way you hope they do. Though I was so pleasantly surprised by Sukitte Ii Na Yo recently so there is some hope and I continue to buy the monthly that this manga runs in so you never know... The anime on the other hand, we are a quarter of the way through the season. And I'm losing hope. |

Click to show or hide at the end of the flashback, he calls himself stupid for ever saying that he can advance medical science to help Chiwa |

But I haven't read the manga so I'm only hoping. |

Episode 3 Well, I feel like the show is dragging a bit but at any rate, it's pretty obvious that Chiwa likes Eita. I definitely felt sorry for Chiwa though ;.; especially her leg there... I'm also not a big fan of this anymore but still is entertaining at occasions. |

The show for me is starting to decline. I want to see more characters getting in on the series now, even though we did get some back story on Eita. I feel this series is starting to slowly move away from its genre a little.
