Yeah I've watched it and I liked it but after looking into it a bit I'm kinda surprised that they choose that particular ending. Although if you're going to teach a hard lesson that one could definitely hit home. Not intending to segway but I would like to see anime where if the source material has multiple endings or story branches etc I think they too should be added to the anime based on it at some point. I'd want to see all of the alternates anyway. School Days is a good example of this scenario.

The story was good honestly, but I wanted to kill the main character soooo much

I liked it. I don't see why people hate it so much or say how "scary" or "crazy" it was because it wasn't to me. I liked how the anime kept it real. No girl (Kotonoha) would put up with that stuff and there are real girls who would do anything to get someone's man (Sekai). All the anime really showed was how the world works sometimes and how it can happen in high school.

It started of good, but after I'd say around episode 5 the anime really started to get on my nerves a little bit.

The ending was fucked up that I agree with, but then again that's what Makoto get's for sleeping around. Seriously you don't want to piss women off in that fashion

I was traumatized particularly with the ending, but after all, I still think it was a good anime. I mean, the opening part was really good, it had some pretty good music (it had like 6 ending songs if I remember well), but at like episode 6, it started to get really dramatic. It's definitely not for everyone. Should be in the ''Seinen/Mature'' category

I find it difficult to really enjoy a show that has no likable characters whatsoever, but I did get curious as to just how much things were going to spiral out of control.

Let's just say that I will never get those scenes from the last ep out of my head! They should've put a warning before the last episode....

Seeing your topic title I already start with laughing.
I have read the manga too but there's a little less mature content in it than the anime.

It was an okay anime that delivered one of the most memorable endings in anime, ever.
Nothing more, nothing less.

Absolutely horrible, so many people warned me to see it but I did anyway. One of the worst decisions I've made was to watch School Days.

I felt extremely heartbroken for Katsura, although I didn't expect shit to hit the fan so hard..

Gives you such a wake-up call on your normal Harem, slice of life anime o.o

I've heard about that game being completely nuts in the ways of inconsistent decision making system.
I really did like how it ends in the worst way possible it could have.

EDIT: Wow, so many replies already to this post, I didn't realise that CrunchyRoll's community was this lively! :)

I for some reason felt extremely wierd afterwards, (Yes, I felt rather emotional afterwards). But this wasn't the kind of teary emotional feeling that you would get from watching something like Clannad/Clannad Afterstory. I just felt extremely....wierd...>_>
