I write stories that would qualify as both shonen/seinen. A lot of my stories are about these regular people thrust into a unthinkably horrific situation and it follows their struggle to escape. Most of these stories are action with brutal and violent villains (Serial killers, Death, embodiments of pain and madness, etc.) These stories are all short and won't end up being long. They all, without fail, have sad endings like in one of them after all his struggle our main hero hangs himself in grief of all his losses and that his mission of revenge wasn't worth it. These stories would fall under the modern fantasy genre.
