So just watched Myself; Yourself because alot of people recommended it. It was not the best anime i've ever seen, but it was really good. But i felt the ending was a bit unsatisfying.
I belive Sana proposed to Sanaka and she agreed to marry him? Also the nature preserve was saved. I didn't really get the point with Hinako having a 5 year younger boyfriend? I thougt she would be together Shu?
And what was the purpose with not showing the twins face? Just them holding hands? I want it to be normal, but overall it just felt incest throughout the whole series. Sure they are close, but in 10 years mayby they should have found a partner or something?
And what was the deal with not showing their reunion? I mean would it be so hard to add maybe 2 minutes where they would all meet again leaving us, the viewers 100% satisfied.
What was the purpose in ending it like this haha! Goddamit  |

then you have the emos that didn't get married
and the only normal girl is the one that somewhat has a speech impairment
out of the 12 there were only two good episodes, the gang at the river and the date on the river...
the abortion part was somewhat interesting least to say given the human nature aspect... (not saying i'm pro choice/life) just saying

It's been a while since I've seen it, but I wasn't really impressed. And I agree, the twins were a little too close. It felt creepy and akward. I mean, what siblings hold hands at the age of 23 or however old they are; it just felt weird.
I also don't really remember anything about an abortion. Was it the crazy brunette who spread the rumor about the twins?

In my opinion it could of been longer, the series felt like it was rush. The ending wasn't quite satisfying, and yea the sibling thingy was weird hand down!

I'm sad it didn't turn out like School Days. Joking thank god it didn't. I did find that the twins being so close was pretty creepy though! Incest sorta creeps me out.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of that anime. I only watched half of it last year and haven't gotten the motivation to finish it up since then.

With the Abortion part i think AnimeKami is refering to the last episode Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide The fact that Sanakas father was not her real father, but her Violin Sensei was. And that her "fake" father got pissed and asked why her mother did'nt do an abortion |

Well sometimes it's really confusing, but in this anime could have been a great way of ending it.
You never really saw Sana and Sanaka doing anything "romantical", they relationship was moving forward but really slowly. You realized from the start Sanaka was in love with Sana, and Sana later realized that he loves Sanaka to.
Instead of making 10 more episodes showing their relationship progress they decided to make a 10 year leap, wich could have been good. If they fixed the things i wrote in my original post.
It really bothers me haha, would have taken 2 minutes to wrap it up! Oh well, watching a all-out shonen / harem / echii anime now for variations sake, will get to messed up only watching depressing romance!

I'll add this the fact of the matter is there are a lot more disappointing animes out there. Myself; Yourself was not the worst thing you could have experienced.
Time skips have a special property with this anime, the time skip gave the audience a sense of conclusion when all the characters were depicted again after 10 years.
They could of also done a simple thing like... conclude with the the two characters going out...
