tsunderes man, "I-Its not like I wanted to hit you or anything! B-Baka!"

and yeah its become a trope at this point but it doesn't bother me, bring on the tsundere love!

lol Hell yeah!

Also, if you think being smacked is bad then you haven't seen much anime. Has anyone seen a show called Nichijou (aka My Ordinary life)?

It sounds like you seem to think that some girls don't actually act like that. Granted in real life it's typically more playful than how its depicted by tsunderes in anime, but the fact remains there is indeed girls out there that lash out physically. It may not be as common as the anime trope suggests but I've experienced a few punches and kicks for situations that really were not my fault or where I said something stupid.

Well, most often the case is in which any male character often peeps on women, sees them naked, or is an absolute pervert.

......Or maybe it's because anime wants to represent
GIRL POWER!!!

tvtropes.org, the wiki for understanding the anime creative framework, calls this "Double Standard Abuse: Female on Male." There you'll find a whole explanation of the phenomenon, along with related tropes (such as "Disproportionate Retribution") and a lengthy list of examples from all over literature and media, including a whole page of examples from recent anime.

It's become an unavoidable tradition in japaninmation for what ever explainable reason. Or maybe it's because japenese cartoon characters are terribly prude, prideful or something.

Frankly, I encountered such situation before and didn't get hurt.

It`s there to teach the young audience that peeping on women in baths is no no.

1. An auto reaction to get the other person to leave as soon as possible due to extreme embarrassment and a violation of ones personal space.
2. Used for comical effect in anime on human males.

I've wanted to do number one to several of my friends and family who just absolutely refuse to knock on the door first.

I don't know but if I ever make an anime I'll have a guy that always hits the girl just to make it fair XD, and I hope it pisses people off.

Mostly For the physical humor...and to show obvious embarrassment from the girl (if it's a blush hit). It's just one of those recurring things that happen in anime that you never question.

To give it humor of course. One of the most remarkable events I can think off is Kyou from Clannad always throwing dictionaries at Tomoya, (Main Character), laugh every time.
