The Unlimited Hyobu Kyosuke Discussions
|
Preview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQjWdEUi-98Synopsis An original spin-off series centering around Kyousuke Hyoubu. Characters & Voice Actors Kyousuke "Major" Hyoubu VA: Yusa, Kouji Andy Hinomiya VA: Suwabe, Junichi Yuugiri VA: Touyama, Nao Other Information Type: TV Episodes: Unknown Status: Currently Airing Aired: Jan 8, 2013 to ? Producers: Manglobe, UNLIMITED Partners Genres: Supernatural, Action First Impressions The first episode was okay imo. The series reminds me of Code:Breaker a bit. Kyousuke is a badass especially when he throws that object into the helicopter and BOOM! The fighting between the inmates were kinda cruel imo but otherwise fits within the theme of the series. Overall episode felt kinda fast but not too shabby. Some pictures: Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide |

I'm love Zettai Karen Childern. Still reading the manga and waiting for new chapters.
But I don't think the same at this spin-off. Maybe I will give it a chance, but I don't have the high expectations with it. |

first ep was pretty good imo (I haven't seen or read Zettai Karen Children though so this is the first in the series I've seen even if this one is a spinoff)
the action is good from what I can tell and Hyoubu as the main character will make things interesting Hinomiya reminds me of the main lead from Sacred Seven, especially with the eye power icons |

Very different feel from Zettai Karen. Karen started light and fluffy and had the dark side of the world kind of flutter just below the surface. They touched on it more as the series went on (particularly with Black Phantom) but the key feel of the show was a sense of hope.
Unlimited is clearly starting in the dark places and is more a sense of retribution than hope. and Hyobu himself is a very interesting character with a lot of baggage. |

Thanks CR for putting a fast-paced sci-fi action anime usually found elsewhere.Lots of potential intrigue.A sppinoff from Psychic Squad.I like all three Hyoubu Yuugiri and Andy Hinomiya.** He is a member of law enforcement?

I thought the first episode was great. Looking forward to the next!
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Loved the ending of the first ep. Andy Hinomiya is a pretty skilled inspector imo, wasn't suspecting him at all. |

This looks great so far. I love Zettai Karen the Children. In fact I've loved all the work from this author. I can't wait to see the rest of this series.

my favorite seiyuu are in it !!! alrighty !!!
and so far it establish the main characters very well already and some a hint of the plot but I am not sure yet who is the true bad guy here ...well aside from the obvious.... from what I see , its already pretty interesting but lets see if they develop the characters |

In his perspective he is protecting all Espers, but he will use any and all means available to do that. now there are worse bad guys in the setting, but Hyobu certainly has earned his place on the World's Most wanted list. I'm actually kind of curious to see what this series dose with the "Normal People"( A terrorist group dedicated to the extermination of all Espers.) Zettai Karen always portrayed them in a semi-comdic sort of way (members being people like "A normal old lady from the market" or a "Normal Pensioner") but I can see Unlimited making them really nasty in a rabid fanatic sort of way. |

I just finished the first episode moments ago and I enjoyed it a lot. I like series where people have super powers. And I also like series where the main character is a bad ass to begin with. The winter line-up is pretty weak so I'm glad there is at least one new series I can look forward to every week. The only other potential I see this season is Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East. Hopefully the first episode impresses me as much as this one did.

I also enjoyed the first episode. Hopefully that continues, unlike Code Breaker which had to drop as it was still lacking any direction after three episodes. Great OP on Code Breaker at least!
Hyobu seems like a serious badass. Can't wait to see a worthy opponent. |
