Yes this series is actually really getting very interesting. I am enjoying this one alot. I would say one of the better anime this winter season.I like that it focus on the characters. The writting is done well to make it interesting and make their characters develop.

So Zettai Karen Children timeline is suppose to be after this one? I remember this one came out in 2010

The Zettai Karen Anime covered I think up to chapter 138 or so of the manga (though it wasted about 20 episodes avoiding the main story and just being cute). Basically right up until they graduate from elementary school.

Unlimited seems to be set just after the girls enter middle school (chap 140) but before the PANDRA kids transfer to their school (Chap 195). Not sure if they have made the deal with Roviet (AKA: Russia) at this point or not but it should be pretty soon.

My guess is it's just before chapter 158 which is when Babel launches an offensive against PANDRA reappearing in Japanese territory. For 2 years prior to that chapter PANDRA kept themselves overseas dealing with terrorists and other criminal organizations to gather funds and support, which seems to fit what's been happening in Unlimited

Muscle's appearance pretty much meshes with that chapter as well, along with Patty's presence

Episode 6

Wow Kyousake is a boss. Rather than that though, I'm curious at the ending. He's going to kill...

I hope that the next few episodes combine current events with the flash backs. The cliffhanger from this week was intense! However, I bet that Andy doesn't know about the prediction that the Catastrophe is going to be destroyed and I am about 95% sure that US is going to betray Andy and try to destroy the ship, which is probably what Hyoubu is alluding to when he says that Andy will "die here just as [he] did."

Andy was ostracized by both normals and espers and so didn't think twice about betraying them at first. He simply wanted a place to be himself. However, he unknowingly found a place to belong with PANDRA and now he doesn't know what to do. I hope he makes the right choice before it costs lives and the trust of his teammates.

I can't see this as ''X-men like'' at all. Sure it has superpowers, but everything else is different lol. You don't see BABEL as a good guy (Like you did with the professor in X-men.).. There is no actual ''good vs evil'', cause everyone has reasons behind their conduct.. Other than BABEL.. + Magneto can't be compared to Kyosuke either.. Cause Kyousuke is portrayed in a ''invincible'' sort of way (Though he is close to dying cause of age.).. Although Magneto was never that overpowering, he had strong powers, but you knew that he was still beatable..
+The characters are totally different, and have more to it than X-men characters.. Wolverine for example is just a guy who turns aggressive easily, but also sees himself as a part of x-men, I'd say there's more to ''unlimiteds'' characters than xmen, even though the show has gone for far less than X-men.

I agree with him. When reading through the manga of ZKC I definitely kept thinking about its similarities to X-Men. Aside from Kyousuke/Magneto I think its more about the themes presented rather than character similarities. Mutants and espers are both discriminated against, Babel and the X-Men both fight for trying to keep the harmony between humans and mutants/espers, and then there is Pandra and the Brotherhood of Mutants who both fight for mutants/espers and their superiority over humans.

Pandra and harmony between espers and humans? What kind of signs have they given for that in Unlimited? They just seem like a ''Japanese esper defense force'' .. Which is bullocks imho.. Who'd use 14~ year old girls for a job that could directly danger their life. I have to say that Babel doesn't have a moral base. In X-men, the children ''mutants'' were given education and weren't really used in the front line at all, so I have to say that X-men is a stereotypical ''save the world'' organization, while Babel is far from it.
And I'd say that there might be more to Pandra considering that they're trying to make their own products, etc.. So I'd say they're also far from ''ESPER SUPERIORITY GROUP.''.. There should be more to it.

Things aren't quite black and white like in X-men.

Also, its interesting to note that while BABEL have young children/teen agents that they constantly put in harms way, they all wear limiters that are not self-controlled, but controlled by their normal human guardians/trainers. At least in X-men, the mutants are being taught by other mutants who can understand them. And they don't wear "limiters" unless its by choice.
Also, PANDRA offers the espers choices when they join. They don't have to fight if they don't want to. If you want to live a life of peace, Hyoubu has an island sanctuary that can provide that. If you want to go to school, which many of the teens and children are, then you have that choice as well.

BABEL and PANDRA are not simply a case of good vs evil. There are many layers of grey to go through on both sides. I mean if I was an esper and PANDRA rescued me from slavery (yes, there are a few times that PANDRA has liberated a enslaved espers), then to me they would be the good guys, and I would question why BABEL wasn't there to stop the slavers? Yet, if I was a normal who had relatives killed by PANDRA then I would hate them with every breath. It's all about the person and the point of view. This happens all the time in fiction and real life.

There are some other factors regarding BABEL the Children. Several of the Stories in the Manga touch on the fact that the strain of level 7 powers is actually pretty harmful to the girls and their powers do react in unpredictable ways from even the smallest of factors.

As an example Kaoru almost crushed herself to death because her powers went berserk from a very minor head injury that went untreated. and Aoi's teleportation powers have gotten her stuck in a wall at times. Early in the Middle School arc her emotions sent her teleporting out of control because she didn't have her limiter and she began porting at random.

The Limiters are as much to keep the girls safe from their own powers as they are to control them. However they have not always been well treated. The supervisor they had before Minamoto was something of a vicious witch who used limiters in the form of collars equipped with electro shock. Any time Kaoru acted out she would shock Shiho and Aoi as punishment.

By comparison the ones Minamoto made them take the form of jewelry and the girls are able to remove them their selves. They keep them on as a sign of trust with Minamoto (Although the government said they have to have them when they go to school)

As for them being on the front lines. When they were younger BABEL tried to restrict them to helping with disaster relief though there were some cases involving Esper criminals. Given a Choice the people at BABEL probably wouldn't use them as much as they do. The Government however sees them more as Level 7s than they do as children. They frequently insist that since the Government funds BABEL they should get results, and Level 7 Espers are a "valuable strategic resource"

In a Lot of ways Hyobu is right. Normals see espers as tools to be used, and that is something BABEL is fighting as much as PANDRA is, they are just fighting with their hands tied a lot of the time and with a lot stricter set of rules.
