She seems to be pulling something similar to Colonel Grisham, using telepathy to attack people with their own powers.

Combined with level 7 Hypno and you are fighting yourself.

Andy is pretty much the only one who has a chance against her

This series is a spin-off of the original manga, but I don't think they take place in the same world.

Is the reason that Andy has some sort of power similar to the Imagine Breaker and the time he's spent with Yagairi?

Pretty much

Andy is a Null-Psy and from what we have seen up to this point a pretty powerful one. The simple fact that Aoi can't teleport him and Shiho can't read him unless his Limiter is active suggests Andy may even be a level 7. Plus he Shut down Fujiko and She is a level 6, with level 7 potential under specific circumstances.

I was expecting Hyobu Kyosuke to be a more interesting and complex character since he was pretty much an awesome mystery towards the beginning.. However, after they showed his past, I now think he's just the normal revenge character.

Don't get me wrong, he's completely badass and I love the show.

It's just that my expectations were to have more to Kyosuke than just a typical revenge story.

Maybe I might be proved wrong, because we haven't seen where he has gotten his powers yet and what that limiter really is.

Episode 12 (last episode)

In my opinion, they ended it very well but at the same time it leaves you wanting more

Second season please, definitely need more of this show

And Yugiri was even more adorable this episode (if that's even possible) and she even got to sing her own song

I think this gets my #2 or so spot on my list of favorites for this season, definitely earned it

Never did see if I was right about Yugiri being a blood relation to Hyobu. Satome kind of hinted at it but they didn't say it out right.

and Hyobu has seen Yugiri as part of the Queen's future. I wonder if she carries a title like the other three. Princess of Illusion or something.

Episode 12/Finale

Phew ,it's over. This was a fun series imo that I enjoyed for the Winter Season.

I have to say that Yugiri is one dangerous little girl with a dangerous power from this episode. Good thing Kyousuke broke through though. For an illusion attack, that sure looked pretty damn real.

The background music played during Yugiri's theme was also sweet imo. Finally glad to see everything come back together again. I admit that the action wasn't as good as I thought for this finale but the ending was fitting.

Overall rating: 8/10

I also recommend the original Zettai Karen Children if anyone is interested.

I think the ending was pretty good too. Nice wrap up .Although there not much action in the end I feel its not very necessary to the story .since they establish the threat already .

When I first saw this ,I wasnt sure what to expect but they estalished the plot clearly and concentrated on the characters and they made them believable inspite of their powers in one season.I lose interest when I cant connect with the characters.

I remembered Zettai Karen Children but I lost interest in that one, maybe I will go back and watch it now I know Hyobu more.

I love this episode. It was a great ending to this series and I truly hope that we can get a second season. I loved Hyoubu's character and I loved how he grew up as a person during this series. He was able to face Saotome and what the man did to him, he was able to face his insecurities and his classic survivor's guilt thanks to Yugiri's illusion. He has shown how much he's grown in that in the beginning he believed in "death to traitors" as esper law and expressed vividly his hatred in normals. Now, after everything he's been through, he's shown how much he's changed his outlook on everything. He lets Saotome live, despite all the man has done to him and his friends, but he takes away the guy's memories both as a form of punishment and to protect himself, PANDRA, and his queen from Saotome's attacks.
I really like how this entire series played out. I love how Andy saved Hyoubu in the end. However, it does raise questions:

Andy seems to have used up his secondary ability to seal Hyoubu's powers. However, he states that his secondary ability only lasts for a certain amount of time. Will Hyoubu ever be able to go Unlimited again? Will Andy's second power ever return? What happened to Ihachigo?

That's the only thing I didn't like. Why did Andy leave? His whole arc was about finding a place to belong. He now found a place in PANDRA, but now he's leaving to find himself? After everything you've been through with them? Really? He'd rather be homeless and a vagabond? He still can't decide if he's an esper or a normal? Dude, you're an esper...get over it.

Other than that, this is a solid 9.95/10 series for me. It got me back into anime and made this winter amazing.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. I even got a laugh near the end since the whole "You're not me" was giving me Persona 4 deja-vu.

EIther another season of this or a new season of Zettai Karen

a less kiddy version than the original series, that focuses on the middle school years and the dark side of their world like Black Phantom
