There's no magic number. Some people just aren't cut out for it, period.

Marriage (monogamy) isn't a natural human behavior in the first place.

There are several species which develop monogamous relationships. Humans are one of them. If it was truly unnatural, then the practice never would have developed in the first place. There are some cultures which practice sorts of polygamy, but they are in the minority in this age.

Only someone who has never been in love could say something as naive as that.

If it was so natural then cheaters wouldn't exist.

It is unnatural to legally bind yourself to one individual, that is something society concocted in its effort to be worthy of God (i.e. Religious interference). Many cultures practice polygamy today, and many did in the past as well.

Too young for marriage? Never, all of it depends on the culture and where you're from.

With the high rate of divorce, cost of living and cheating spouses / changes of the heart. I would say choose very very very carefully, otherwise you will be really bitter, broke and depressed.

Too early is when you don't know where babies come from.

When you're ready, you're ready. I married my husband when I was 19 and he was 22. Now I'm 20 and he's about to turn 23. We had been dating 4 years and living together 2 years. You just need to really be serious and be in the mindset that you are going to live with this person forever, meanwhile loving, supporting, understanding, and forgiving the whole time. If that thought sounds scary to you, you're not ready.

For me it's too early if the couple hasn't even started their careers. I mean love can't buy food and pay bills. I will never know why people want to 'rush' into marriage. It must be a insecurity or something.

Late 10s and early 20s.

Why men allow themselves to get fucked over by the marriage institution is beyond me. It benefits the wife and the children, not the men.

obviously not like 40....

20-25 - too early, you're not even out of university yet
26-35 - optimum in today's day and age.
36-39 - last chance
40-50 - any second marriage, third, etc
51-forever - spend the rest of your life with that person.

I'm probably gonna be the last chance one, if I ever get married :'(
