Post Reply Romantic advice on an anime site?

I don't think its a bad thing.
Some people need advice. No one can do one thing on their own, and sometimes, love is one of them.

I think it's merely a bad idea due to the age range of most of the forum users. Anime doesn't always have too much to do with the forums.

For instance, I joined CR for the horror movies. A few years back, they got rid of most of them, but I still post in the forums. Other sites are more suitable for anime streaming, methinks.

Most people here don't really like to judge other people and everyone's nice and helpful. After all, we all really like anime and therefore have something in common. A lot of people here are lonely in person and don't have many friends. That's just how we are...a lot of us are just naive. Heck, I'm a very naive person, but you wouldn't guess it on here. We all have a different personality on here than we do in person. While we wouldn't talk about some of the stuff on here in person with real people of a completely different society than us, we all understand each other to some extent and we like to help each other. We can all get along on here a vast majority of the time.

Hey guys! I recently have become infatuated with this big blanket wrapped across me right now. The only problem, is that he often hangs around a lot of other girls.. and wraps himself on them, too!

He's such a good listener and cuddler but is constantly flirting! Any advice?

My dog gets more chicks than I do. What do I do? Like literally, girls swarm to cuddle and kiss him. For some reason I don't get the same treatment

Not sure if this is a joke or not I will tell you like I tell everyone else who asks for advice on these subjects... grow a pair and ask her out, of course I say it in a mean yet friendly supportive way. I knew a skinny white kid who wanted to go out with a certain girl that looked waaayyy out of his league so I didn't really expect her to say yes to him but I told him that little line I mentioned anyway and boy was I surprised when I heard the word "yes" come out of her mouth.
Back in highschool I gave that same advice to a kid I knew also about a girl way out of his league. She started laughing hysterically while pointing her finger at him. Her friends that were there also started laughing hysterically, though for them it was more about going along with her. She then said the words "Go out with you?! I wouldn't ride in an elevator with you!!" He committed suicide later that day.

I remember giving similar advice to a guy that weighed about three hundred pounds who, for some reason, had his eyes set on a girl who looked like a professional supermodel. She was really embarrassed and said no one had ever asked her out before, so she was happy to accept. He ended up marrying her under a year later, and lost a lot of weight thanks to his new wife's healthy cooking. Now he's the one giving advice to everyone.

(think they're on to us yet?)

thats amazing! i like true stories like that.

You CAN do it alone, it's just not usually as fun.

Lots of advice is given. Not much is acted upon. It's all good fun for the most part.

Mark your territory, take him to school away from them during the day or cover them with soot :).
