Pokemon X & Y announced for 3DS

I too was hoping for Pokemon to get the axe, or at least take a break for a while. It's not like they're incapable of making new, more innovative games.
Ah, well. Not really anything special coming out of this Generation. Reminds me of Gen 4 where they just sprinkled in a few new Pokemon, guessing they're either running low on ideas for Pokemon or just holding back. I kinda like the frog, and the second legendary deer creature, but the rest just seemed average at best. The gameplay looks really low res, not digging the quality of the game. Over all, there's not enough info to really make a judgement, but I have this feeling it's going to be just as underwhelming as the announcement was for me.

The new Pokemon on 3DS looks amazingly good and I'm glad Nintendo are going for a 3D direction with the franchise since it's long overdue, too many 2D graphics for Pokemon.
