It introduced you to the main characters, and how the "helper" team works. I have to say, the shrine maiden is rather mischievous! Someone in the Black Ships seems to be the main bad guy--perhaps Perry--so we'll see what happens over the next few episodes.

Click to show or hide Maybe the Roman mech suit was a bit too much but Doc and the Old man from the pawn shop are devious.I like it from the funny ,kind side of it.I mean the electric eel alarm system was great. The decorative chopstick were so funny.But it kinda of an Asian Robin Hood which had misfits and funny too. But a good side.when Roman got the kite down for the bosses daughter(no charge) and then told her to wish on the Sun when her father was hurt.Then he took the little bit of money to pay his gang who are unique in their own rights.The dog(Sakura)with the mask was just so funny.For myself I think it will be good.

The showdown really blew me out of the water!! Monkey Punch really pulled out all the stops on this one!! Great show! I really enjoyed it!!

Oh, I originally thought I'd get some of the vibes from Lupin III but otherwise, this series wasn't for me. Maybe it's because the setting and some of the characters presented. 5/10. That's it. I probably won't remember this for long at all.
